Name: Bishop
Species: Canine
Breed: Dalmatian
Gender: Male ♂
Height: 38cm
Weight: 11kg
Alignment: Chaotic neutral
Likes: Sneaking, climbing, pouncing, snowing, being lazy, cookies, pretzels, chicken.
Dislikes: Being bored, deep water, losing.
Appearance:
Both of his ears would be completely black except that his left ear has a white tip. In-between his ears on the top of his head is a tuft of hair that constantly sticks up. He has a small spot on each side of his face (on the cheek), one on each of his hind legs and the tip of his tail is completely black. Finally, he has three large patches on his back that look more like thick stripes. He is slightly smaller than the average dalmatian in both size and mass, which never changes due to his high metabolism (and also from being a cartoon character). Around his neck he most commonly wears his blue collar with silver name tag, although he sometimes replaces this with a stripey blue scarf during winter or when it is cold. He also sometimes carries a small messenger bag when he is out foraging mushrooms in the forest.
Personality:
Depending on the day Bishop will either be very lax, enjoying days lazing about and doing nothing; or being more playful, where exploring the surroundings areas and acting mischievous with other pups take priority. He is quite carefree most of the time and tends not to care about matters that don't directly involve him, but will lash out when someone tries to involve him in something he wants no part of. He can be hypocritical with his own style of fun as it often involves pranking or otherwise just messing with others.
He is a cartoon character and is aware of this, like being in a lucid dream. Access to hammerspace is a normal occurrence, as would be staring at the "camera" when someone does something stupid for example. Usually fourth wall breaking occurs to advance the plot or just to do something he'd find funny.
For a few reasons he has trust issues and thus making real friends isn't an easy task for him. He is dismissive of those he doesn't know well and they would also be likely consider him to be snobbish or just a jerk, however he is quite the charmer when the time calls for it. Again, he wouldn't readily offer help (at least for free) to others unless they were his friends or there was something he expected in return. Due to his trust issues relationships are also just meant to be short-term; he doesn't let others get too close to him and actively pushes away those who try to pursue anything more than just a quick fling, reinforcing his jerk demeanour.
In terms of speed he is very fast (arguably the fastest pup on the farm), but what he has in speed he lacks in endurance and stamina, making anything more than a short sprint difficult. His reflexes are cat-like which also helps with things like dodging and climbing trees. It also helped earn him the title "Master of Sneaky" which he likes to demonstrate by appearing and disappearing when he feels like it. He can't swim and while he isn't uncomfortable in shallow water, around larger bodies of water he would be a lot more cautious. He also dislikes the kibble offered by the Dearlys, instead preferring to raid their kitchen and steal whatever meat is available.
He has an ongoing reciprocated rivalry with Clayton, and would go to extreme lengths not to be outdone by him. He enjoys the teasing and the fighting...as long as he wins. Which if you ask him, he always does.

Backstory:
Bishop was originally living in London at the time when Cruella had her desire for a spotted coat and started ordering her henchmen to kidnap dalmatian puppies. His family moved to America for other reasons shortly before Horace and Jasper came to his house, narrowly avoiding the events of 101 Dalmatians. In their new home in Gruteley, his pets had a baby, and as a result started paying less and less attention to him, leading him to believe he wasn't loved and causing him to run away for a while. When he finally returned cold and hungry after 3 days he discovered that he had already been replaced by a Retriever, which made him run away for good after seeing how easily he was replaced (in reality, this new dog was meant as a companion to Bishop as his humans would not have been able to spend as much time with him).
He quickly found himself taken into a gang where he was taught to fend for himself and developed his egotistical attitude, rising in the ranks quickly as he proved himself to be their best thief to keep food supplies up. However, his heart was never truly set on a life living on the streets and during one of his expeditions he spied a crippled dalmatian being stalked by a grey ferret, who seemed to be up to no good. After chasing away Scorch and following behind the dalmatian, he was eventually led to the Dearly Farm, and the rest is history. But of course, it's not something he talks about so you won't know any of this.
