Before you read this, i would like to point out that this is a story told by my character "Serling".
So all the events that happen in this fic are purely Non-Canon.
The storyline is also based on a running gag in the forums screen shots and bloopers
Enjoy ;D

“When you travel down this highway; you will unlock the door to your imagination. You will hear many stories as this is a highway of sound. You will see many things as this is also a highway of sight. You will think things you’ve never thought before as this is a highway of mind as well. This highway has shadows and substances that will give things and ideas. This highway is “THE TWILIGHT ZONE”.”
“Leave me alone!”
“Awww, is the runt all sad and pathetic?”
“Please Mooch, STOP!”
“Cadpig Dearly, youngest out of her whole litter. Despite her age; she is quite wide in physiological knowledge. The other Mooch; the farm bully, usually showed a soft side towards Cadpig but after being dumped, that soft part froze.
Well maybe this dog is barking up the wrong tree when it comes to Cadpig.
Maybe due to this hardened area his spirit will end up, on the menu.”
Cadpig lied all muddy on in the dirt. She wiped the blood from her jaw as Mooch strolled away laughing with his gang members; Dipstick & Wizzer.
“I really hate that jerk.” Cadpig muttered under her dark breath. She tried to get herself up, but no matter how hard she tried; she always ended in collapsing.
She soon gave up hope and laid face down to the muck. She waited their for almost half an hour until she felt a cold hand press against her back, the cold feeling moved upwards until she felt a small tug upon her collar that jerked her upright.
As the mud dripped away from Cadpig’s eyes, she was able to make out who it was.
The Good Samaritan who helped her was male, quite bigger than she was. He had one ear black and the other one white, over his right eye shone a layer of black fur and around his neck hung a piece of rope tied up in a knot. This dog was her eldest brother; Patch.
“Cadpig, What happened to you?” he asked as he rubbed a piece of blood that was still dripping from Cadpig’s face.
“Mooch beat me up.” Cadpig replied, Patch raise his eyebrow “Again!? That’s the second time this week, and it’s not even past Monday yet.”
“I know.” Cadpig growled “I really want to get back at him, cause I take revenge REALLY well.”
Patch shook his head “Cadpig; if Mooch is really bothering you that much, why don’t you tell mom & dad?”
“That’ll only make it worse.” Cadpig sighed “You know what things are like in the real world as much as I do Patch.”
Patch placed his paw on Cadpig’s back “We’ll in case you don’t tell; I just want you to know that I will always be there to protect you, no matter what.” He then placed his paw off Cadpig and walked off to the barn, leaving Cadpig all alone in an unforgiving world.
Cadpig soon went off beyond the farm and eventually stumbled into the swamp, she walked through the deadly whiffs of the swamp gas until she found an old pile of junk with an opening within it. Cadpig decided to take the step to within and soon ended up inside the store of a very certain rat.
“Well howdy little doggy!” the rat said in a Texan accent “What can I do for you today?”
“I’m not interested in buying anything swamp rat!” Cadpig snorted “I’m just passing.”
“Well if you were just passing, why did you come into my store?”
“Now that was a question Cadpig just couldn’t answer.
Why did she enter that store?
Was it just simply out of pure luck, or was it something more than that?
What if, just if…This stinky old louse had something that won’t just affect her life, but the lives of all those close to her…”
Cadpig looked around Swamp Rat’s store, there was nothing but the usual; used collars, half empty tins of Kibble and a vibrating tooth brush (or how Swamp Rat would put it, An electrified nose nibbler)
However there was one item that caught Cadpig’s attention, on a small bookshelf rested an old brown and soggy book. She stared at it for minutes before Swamp Rat butted in.
“I see you’re interested in that product. Young Walker brought in yesterday, said he found it shoved down a toilet in some old china town book shop.”
Cadpig reached out and picked up the book, she felt the brown leather cover before opening to read the text. Then something happened that no one has ever properly been able to explain, Cadpig read through the book for hours un-end, which to Swamp Rat (and everybody else) was less than three seconds, he continued to watch the runt scroll through the pages still with his bucktooth smile.
Cadpig eventually closed the book and looked at Swamp Rat with; not her usual crystal blue, but dark blood shot ones. “I’m interested in purchasing this item.” She said, her voice sounding more sinister.
“Fantastic little missy.” Swamp Rat smiled “That’ll cost you, two of your chewing bones.”
“Who says I’m paying for it?” Cadpig grew a disturbing smile on her face “Swamp Rat, tell me; did you miss lunch today?”
Swamp Rat took a couple of steps back getting partially concerned, but Cadpig just stepped towards him.
“I think I missed lunch today.” Cadpig continued “And that really does make me hungry.” She looked down and up on Swamp Rat “Yeah. You’re one may not be good as French food, but it’s enough.”
Swamp Rat’s screams echoed throughout the swamp, and then Cadpig emerged from Swamp Rat’s store; carrying the book under her arm, as she walked away she gave a burp that seemed to give of glowing breath, she just shrugged about it and walked back to the farm, this glowing burp was probably just the effect of the swamp’s air, or was it something else? Something more...within.
When Walker returned to Swamp Rat’s store to hand in the days profits, he found something white on the floor; when he gave it a closer inspection, he found out; it was Swamp Rat. His employer was lying down what seemed to be dead on the floor.
Walker measured the pulse; it seemed to be running normally, it looked like if Swamp Rat was as healthy as a doctor, but something about him gave without the cause of a doubt the fact that he was dead, as if his soul had been completely drained from him.
Meanwhile Cadpig just laid down in the barn, paw resting on her stomach.
“Yes.” She sighed to herself “That did taste nice…”
