This is a character I've been toying with introducting for a while. I figure, what they hey let's try it.
Name: Specialist Allen Johns "A.J." Pug
Animal: Coyote
Type: Quadroplegic
Gender: Male
Demeanor: Aggressive, sometimes anti-heroic but decent at his core
Size: Normal for coyote, bigger than most of the pups
Appearance: Standard tawny brown coyote appearance
Likes: huntin', killin', fightin', winnin'
Hates: Enemies
Rival: Fang the wolf
Loves: None
Friends: Unknown at this time
Talents: huntin', killin', fightin', winnin'
Bio: A.J. is very simply put the Bark Bridage's answer to a U.S. Navy SEAL-type position, his job is basically when a dangerous threat arises to go in and seriously f*ck up those responsible...by whatever means neccesary.
It began when he was a pup, A.J's mother died young in a road crossing accident and shortly thereafter he was caught by the Cornel in the process of trying to attack the Smedley (future Dearly) Farm henhouse. Rather than turn him over to farmer and certain death he saw something of potential in the canid and gave the troubled canine to the somewhat cowardly Pug as his first ever cadet for training, figuring having to train a wild animal such as the young coyote would toughen up Pug too. It took years, with Pug developing his strict drill sargent personality out of necessity and bad case of narcolepsy in the process, but Pug was able to break the wild animal in one of the Bark Bridage's ultimate weapons. Over that time, AJ came to see Pug as the father he never had, probably because Pug provided the discipline he needed in life through the course of the training. Doing his militaristic "dad" proud, AJ enlisted for some of the Bark Bridage's more dangerous duties (just what is unknown and perhaps classifed) explaining his absence. Pug received his promotion to Lieutenant for successfully training A.J.
Now Pug has brought his "prodigal son" back as a counter-measure...to Fang the wolf. An example of escalation, with similar size and strength AJ is the best bet for a one-on-one physical match to Fang. While Fang may get the edge in brute force, AJ is just a tick smarter and able to adapt to a situation quicker. Like Fang, AJ's not one to show mercy if he gets the upper paw. If he gets the chance to finish someone off, he may be all too eager to take it.
Theme music: Basil Pouledouris "RoboCop theme," orchestral version from "RoboCop 3"
Personal Motto: "Sometimes the only way to fight violence is with more violence"
