The video game South Park: the Stick of Truth had a sequel which is called South Park: The Fractured But Whole. The game makes jokes about superhero movie franchises.

Random Fact #4064:
While EPCOT was in development in the late 1970's, Disney had plans to make an attraction that would act as a sequel to Carrousel of Progress. The original working title for the ride was "Century 3", as it would reflect on America's third century (2076-2175). However, Disney decided not to use that name because people visiting the park from outside of America would not get the significance of the name, and most of Walt Disney World's visitors came from the U.K. They decided to change the name to "Future Probe", but that name was quickly scrapped as that name sounded extremely suggestive. The theme of the attraction was to live in the future and explore new horizons, which lead to Disney finally settling on the attraction's final name: "Horizons".
Random Fact #4065:
Horizons opened in EPCOT in 1983 and was sponsored by General Electric. The attraction closed in 1994 when General Electric ended its sponsorship with the ride. It reopened in 1996 just with all the General Electric references removed. In 1999, it closed permanently when it was discovered that a sink hole was forming underneath the building. After its closure, the building was demolished so that something could be done about that sink hole. In Horizons' place would be a new thrill ride called Mission: SPACE, which opened in 2003.

Random Fact #4066:
In the Season 1 intro to the Pokemon anime series, there is obviously different footage used between the Japanese version and the American version as well as different song lyrics.
Case in point: during that sequence where we see Charizard, Blastoise and Venusaur before we see Ash and then we see Pikachu run between this one girl's legs and jump, did you ever wonder who that random girl was supposed to be? She appears in the intro but never properly appears in the show.
In the original Japanese intro/song, they make a reference to catching Pokémon everywhere be it "in the ground, in the clouds, even that girl's skirt".

'Take This Ed and Shove It' was the fourth season finale of "Ed, Edd n Eddy" and planned as the series finale (complete with an "all just a dream" ending that seemingly encompassed the whole show). The episode is notable as the final major animation project that used traditional ink, paint, and cel animation. "Ed, Edd n Eddy" was the last show to use it and when the show was renewed and continued for a specials and later series they switched to digital animation.

Random Fact #4075:
One thing that the Homestar Runner website was famous for doing every year was having a Halloween special every year. In each special, all the primary characters dressed up in costumes. At the end of each toon, they were going to have a contest where the fans could vote for their favorite costume and have an award show toon revealing the winner. However, voting only occurred on the first two specials in 2000 and 2001 and was discontinued from that point on. The reason why was because Matt and Mike Chapman had started doing a new series on the site: Strong Bad Emails, which they had started doing regularly and admittingly had a lot more fun doing. The award toon for the 2001 costume contest was never finished and published on the website, but it was finished later and released as a bonus feature on one of the Homestar Runner DVD's. The winner was Strong Bad who was dressed as Carmen San Diego. Despite discontinuing the costume contests, the Brothers Chaps still continued to make annual Halloween toons since that was something the fans always looked forward to every year. They continued to make them through 2009. After that, the site went on an extended hiatus until 2014, when they revived it now launching new toons on YouTube. They have continued to do Halloween toons annually again ever since.

I've been wondering how foreign currency works for a long time. I guess all those cartoons I saw were wrong. In an episode of Cow & Chicken, they said that $10,000 in Canada was only 5 cents in America; and episode of Quack Pack said that a dollar in Britain was a millionth of a cent in America.

Random Fact #4,077
Debuting in the new IDW "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" comics; Alopex the arctic fox mutant was the first TMNT character designed by the series's co-creator Kevin Eastman in more than 15 years. The character proved popular enough she even made the jump to animation, making an appearance in an episode the current 2012-era TMNT cartoon on Nickelodeon. While her name comes from an old Latin name for arctic foxes the cartoon instead portrays her as a red fox.
