Random Fact #4111:
In the 1940’s, Tex Avery created a short-lived cartoon character named Screwy Squirrel. He is often considered to be the wackiest and most antagonistic screwball cartoon character of all time. He only appeared in five cartoons because many audiences found his cartoons to be very annoying and disturbing. His final cartoon, Lonesome Lenny, had an ending (SPOILER ALERT) where Lenny the dog hugged Screwy so hard that he crushed him to death hinting that the studio was literally “killing off” the character.
On April 1, 1997, as an April Fools Day joke, Cartoon Network played Screwy’s second cartoon, Happy-Go-Nutty, on loop for 12 straight hours. This helped reintroduce the character to a mainstream audience after his 50 year hiatus, and his cartoons started to air more regularly on Cartoon Network programs like Toon Heads, The ACME Hour, and of course, The Tex Avery Show.

Random Fact #4112:
Originally, in The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, Kiara was going to be named Aisha. The reason they changed her name was because they didn’t want the creators of Power Rangers to sue them (Aisha was the name of the yellow ranger in the third season of the Mighty Morphing series, as well as the last third of the second season.)

Random Fact #4114:
When playing The Lion King game for the SNES, Game Gear or Genesis, the end of the Hakuna Matata level has Simba fight a gorilla that tosses coconuts and will pound the ground.
According to the developers the gorilla was going to be a character in the actual movie but was cut. However the staff at Virgin Games and Westwood Studios were permitted to utilize that character for a boss fight, allowing the character to live on despite being thrown on the cutting room floor.

Random Fact #4115:
At the beginning of the 2018 film Rampage, one scientist is up on a space shuttle with a rat, who thanks to the chemical turns into a rampaging beast.
When Brad Peyton was asked about this character, some people thought it was supposed to be Larry, a playable in the Atari Lynx game. He did not seem aware of this but says if a sequel is greenlit, he's call the character Larry.

Random Fact #4117:
As I once touched upon before, Lightning Rodriguez was the Tiny Toon Adventures counterpart to Speedy Gonzales that didn't make it into the final show. There were a few other characters as well that wound up being scrapped. I will list the stated reason why unless I say otherwise.
--Penelope Pig was going to be a counterpart to Petunia Pig. Like her counterpart she would have been Hamton's on-again/off-again girlfriend. With her Buster would have Babs, Plucky would have Shirley and Hamton would have had Penelope. She likely would have been the nice one of the three. The stated reason why she was scrapped was because she did not seem to have any real personality and could not generate any chemistry with Hamton.
Personally, I am glad they scrapped her and kept Fifi La Fume.
--Uriah Uranus was going to be a counterpart to Marvin the Martian. He was going to enjoy capturing life forms to study. While this character wound up being scrapped (and no tears shed) Marvin did have a counterpart in the form of one-shot character Marcia Martian.
--Chuckie Puppy was going to be a counterpart to Charlie Dog. Not much info was provided other than being a puppy he wasn't paper-trained. Chances are he was scrapped because they would have eventually made Barky Marky and the Tiny Toon gang would get a baby brother-type of character in L'il Sneezer.
Side note is L'il Sneezer was originally going to be named Squeaky the Mouse. The most evident change was he was lugging around a diaper that was in need of changing and that would scare away any cats that wanted to eat him. Personally I am glad they chose not to do this.
--Grembly the Gremlin was going to be a counterpart to the Gremlin character that opposed Bugs Bunny in the 1943 cartoon Falling Hare. He would go around creating chaos around Acme Acres and likely was intended to be another antagonist. As I previously stated, he likely was scrapped because he would be seen as an offensive Asian stereotype.
--Tennessee J. Toad was going to be a counterpart to Michigan J. Frog. While Michigan J. Frog was into Broadway-ish musical numbers he was more into rock n' roll. He was mostly going to be used for recurring gags. Chances are he was scrapped because he looked too much like his counterpart and for budget reasons.

I do remember the episode with Marcia Martian.
I used to think Elmyra was the counterpart of Petunia Pig, but she’s actually the counterpart of Elmer Fudd.
As for Fifi, her love interest kind of varied from time to time. Most of the time, she was paired with Hampton, but some fans ship her with Furball. I might also add that while Fifi didn’t appear in very many episodes of the series, she actually had a pretty good-sized role in the DTV movie, How I Spent My Vacation where she meets her celebrity crush, Johnny Pew, and winds up hanging out with him and being a personal slave to him just to get his autograph. Every time I watch that movie, I always crack up at her moments!

Random Fact #4,118
In the movie "Mrs. Doubtfire" Robin Williams' character thinks up the name for his nanny character by seeing a San Francisco Chronicle newspaper headline reading "Police Doubt Fire was Accidental." In January 2015 a house used to film scenes for the movie suffered two small fires that police believed were caused by an arsonist leading to actual headlines about how the "Police doubt fires set at ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ house in San Francisco were accidental."
Random Fact #4,119
News stories online are frequently allowed to have longer headlines than those in print. Part of that is due to there not being any space restrictions but longer headlines featuring the key words about the story's topic also make news easier to find through search engines.

Random Fact #4,120
Despite being named after a snake Major League Baseball's Arizona Diamondbacks have a bobcat character named Baxter as their mascot. The reasoning for choosing a bobcat instead of a snake (well besides the obvious "more cute and cuddly" aspect) has been somewhat lost, it was originally a pun on the fact Arizona played at Bank One Ballpark and their stadium was nicknamed "The BOB" as such. Bank One Ballpark was renamed Chase Field in 2005 after Chase acquired Bank One in a merger.

Random Fact #4122:
Tiny Toon Adventures had only one feature-length Film, which was the 1992 How I Spent My Vacation. Production for the film started before the series itself even debuted on television. The staff working on the film debated during production whether or not it should get a theatrical release. Steven Spielberg insisted they make it a direct-to-video release as it would have more replay value for kids. This was probably a wise choice as movies based on TV series usually end up becoming major box office flops. Despite that, the video sold very well during that year with over a million copies being sold worldwide.
Random Fact #4123:
In 2002, Cartoon Network had a short-lived series called Whatever Happened to...Robot Jones? Originally, the title character was voiced by a speech voice that is heard on a lot of Macintosh computers. In the second season, Jones was voiced by an actual child actor, who later redubbed all the character’s lines in the first season. Contrary to popular belief that this was due to lawsuits from Macintosh, the real reason is because the CN executives found Jones’ original voice to be too creepy.

Random Fact #4124:
Jeanne Basone has an interesting past. She is best known for her time as a professional wrestler in GLOW, which is an acronym for Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. Her wrestler name was Hollywood.
Before that, she was the actress who played Jane in the abomination of a 3DO "video game" we know as Plumbers Don't Wear Ties. She did appear on GameFAQs at one point and said she only did the game as a favor for a friend and never expected it to reach store shelves.
And yes, I say "video game" because it probably shouldn't be seen as that. It is more like you put money down for a DVD that has a menu but no movie.
Random Fact #4125:
Despite being So Bad It's Horrible, Plumbers Don't Wear Ties now sells for over $100.

Random Fact #4,126
In 101 Dalmatians II Lucky describes Patch kicking his way out of his cage as "absolutely wizard." "Wizard" actually was British slang for "superb" for a while. The earliest recorded uses date to the 1920s but its best known for its use by Royal Air Force pilots during World War II. It had mostly faded out by the time in the 1960s that the movie takes place.
Perhaps Lucky likes old war movies...

Random Fact #4127:
All of the animals featured in Zootopia are mammals.
Random Fact #4128:
One particular animal not featured in Zootopia are apes. The creators decided not to include them in the movie as they were too closely-related to humans.
Random Fact #4129:
Originally, the character, Gazelle, was made to resemble a generic stereotypical pop star. When Shakira was hired to do the voice of Gazelle, her design was altered to look more like she was modeled after Shakira.
