The people who wrote bad reviews on this show are either Jetix fans, Disney haters, or old-school Disney fans who hate all the post-Walt stuff.

Well, if you thought that was bad, this was one of the comments on imdb here: One of the darkest days in Disney's history., 14 August 2003 Author: SSJAniFan from Pine Valley, California This is one of the worst cartoons, let alone tv shows, in existence. I thought the 1996 piece of dog crap that came before was bad enough, but this is pure torture. The huge cast of dalmatians is taken out of the picture, including the parents, Pongo and Perdita, and in the lead we have: Lucky, the only puppy who appeared in both the excellent animated film and the horrible live action film, Rolly, who also appeared in the animated flick, Cadpig, a character who didn't appear in either Disney film, but was featured in the original novel, and...... Spot the chicken. A $$^$#@^%%$^ CHICKEN!!! ? WHAT WAS DISNEY THINKING!? Spot is one of the stupidest characters in Disney's existence, a character who is entirely worthless and adds nothing to the series. Even worse, the other three characters, as well as Cruella, Jasper, and Horace, are horribly one-dimensional, lacking any sort of real personality that makes you care for them, unlike so many of Disney's other shows. Add in really bad animation, as well as a bad music track, and you have Disney's worse cartoon series ever(with the exception of Teacher's Pet and Lloyd in Space). BOTTOM LINE: This puppy really needed to be put to sleep, and I'd administer the fatal shot myself. (The others who commented seem to have positive thoughts on the show instead) Did you read the 'rebuttal for SSJAniFan' thread on the message board? Nope, I haven't, why's that?

The fool only saw one episode of the series, and made his claims because the series apparently aired on Playhouse Disney at one point in the UK. Pathetic, really, since the reviewer who bashed the series at TV.com is a child, no more than twelve years old, yet he had the audacity to call the series childish.
Truly pathetic.

The good thing is there were alot of good reviews. There is also a very big fan on TV.com, I think. He/She owns alot of merchandise and even has an animation cel! (I'm not sure if he/she is a member here.)

btw, someone gave the show a 0.0!!! "Change the channel!" Bad show! No treat for you! "101 Dalmations: The Series" left me feeling cold. Ok, so they changed stuff around from the original animated film, like (inexplicably, but I'm guessing that the live action movies had something to do with this) moving everyone to America. Ok, I could deal with making the show an AU (alternate universe). But the characters were all just... awful. None of them were really likable except for the chicken Spot (and that's saying a lot), and most of them were pretty boring as well. Seriously, how do you make puppies unlikable? Cruella Deville just doesn't work as a reoccuring villain. Toss in a stereotypical "bad" animal to play the antagonist (in this case, Cruella's ferret), weak writing, and bam, you get one bad series. Disney has really gone downhill with their animated series. Hercules was the last really good one they made. My advice is to see "101 Dalmations 2: Patches' London Adventure", a direct-to-video movie that is FAR superior to the series here and with more of the heart and spirit of the original animated feature. 3StarvingArtist Good news: "3 users disagree with this review." ;D Most people disagreed with the ones who gave bad reviews.( I'm one of them! )

wow. Hey. Grow up guys. "Lets kick his ass" "Lets punch him in the face" Over a T.v. show? ...really. Come on. It's not the end of the world. The show is off the air. You'll never meet these people, and if you decide that you want to get into a fight over it in real life, you deserve to be locked up. End of story.
