I'll make a list of my favorite episodes later Belchic Book Review Book Title: My side of the story. Rating: 9/10 Last October I went to Disneyland California. It was on the last day there when I found this book and I simply had to have it. The book brings us two stories telling two different sides to the 1961 Dalmatians movie through the eyes of Lucky & Cruella. Luckys story first, When I looked at the illustrations in the book, I thought RacefanX’s Character Horseshoe, was trying to steal the show again as every picture of Lucky had him wearing a BLUE collar not RED. The story was really accurate to the movie except for the part when they met Tibbs. In the movie, Tibbs met two pups who weren’t part of the original 15, however in this book; he encountered Lucky, Patch & Rolly. Also in the movie when the pups were told by Tibbs to climb out through the hole the cat noticed Lucky wasn’t following but watching TV so he had to go get him, however in the book again, Lucky was part of the group with Patch, Rolly & Penny to tell the other pups to go through the hole. I guess when you tell a story, you always try to make yourself look good in it, which is probably Lucky was doing. Also, we learn the reason of how Lucky & Patch got covered with soot was that they were play fighting and Patch said Lucky cheated when he through ash in Patchs face, Lucky however just called him a big saw loser, which made Patch angry and made him push Lucky into the soot. Cruellas side now. Probably the greatest work of fiction since the Government said they weren’t using our tax payers’ money for their own personal needs. Cruella states that she didn’t want to make a coat of the pups, but to give them a boat, they even had a full illustration of her on a cruiseship with the dalmatians dressed as sailors. If I wanted to see pups hsppily dress up, I’d watch “You say it’s your Birthday”. She even said that Horace & Jasper had Nanny’s permission to take the pups and wasn’t mean to them one bit, yeah, I’ll believe that the day an animated movie which isn’t CGI is released in cinemas this year. The story even mentioned that Cruella went on trial, something I’d really like to see. Her side was really quite painful to read though as it seemed too weird & odd to even believe. Out of the two stories; I’d say I’ll have to listen to Luckys side as he’s still to young to make up such a story, plus the puppies are so cute. ^^ Anyway, this book is something that’s worth having if you are a 101 Dalmatians fan and I would recommend it to anyone. Good Book & I Like It. This is Babcalymans review. See Ya ;D

Good review Bab. Seems like an interesting twist on the tale, Cruella on trial would be interesting.
Some of the reasons for differences...
In most of the merchindise from the 1992 re-issue the collar colors were swapped from the movie. The girls wear red collars and the boys blue (the opposite of the film). Those colorings were dropped for the live-action movie and series where it became just random.
Disney also sugar-coats Cruella's plan in children's books, I remember one where it described her as wanting to sell them to a circus or something.

that explains why live action Lucky had a blue collar
although in the actual movie both Jewel's collar and Two-Tone's were pink

Episode Review
Episode name: Four stories up
Rating: 7/10Alright, here we have it. An episode which bares many references to Simpsons: Tree house of Horror and an episode of Rugrats I watched once. Story is that the ending of the pups favourite TV show; Thunderbolt, is interrupted while Cruella holds a telethon so the main pups decide to come up with their own endings. With Lucky to begin with, you can tell from the start it’s a parody of Bay Watch. It was interesting to see this twist in the Dalmatian universe having Lucky seen as a life guard, him wearing swim trunks was quite amusing and the surfboard part was so what random. However for this Lucky has decided to be the hero (as always) and being as big a Thunderbolt fan that he is, would he really be sure that Thunderbolt would actually need help? One thing I never got was why on earth did they decide to change the Thunderbolt villain into Cruella? I know they hate her but really, is it really necessary to have Cruella be the main bad guy every single episode? With Rollys story, I kinda liked the British accent they gave Spot, I prefer that style voice more than that normal annoying voice she speaks in. However out of all four stories in this episode, this one had to be my least favourite. Rolly behaved like a complete and utter snob and treated no one with the decent respect they deserve at all. With Cadpig I found it slightly painful to watch as I don’t think there’s anything in the universe that can turn Cruella good, and Gipdac’s meditating by going “OMMMMMMMM” would only make Cruella more insane. However Horace & Jasper were quite amusing with hitting the control and leaving Spot due to Union Rules. I’m sure Two-Tone would enjoy this episode as; Spot continually got abused, morphed or injured throughout the entire thing. However she got her own back with… CLUCKZILLA!!!It’s a simple Disney series rule, just like the no more than 65 episode rule (which Disney broke on many occasions) It seems that in every Disney cartoon show I’ve seen, there is at least 5 seconds or more of Macro fun. I think the amount of damage she caused was satisfactory from when she stomped on Rollys boat (serves him right for being a snob i say) to when she kicked Gipdac’s ship into the Moon. I once recall in a blooper Cluckzilla had an encounter with Queen Pup (a macro version of Two-Tone) I’d really like to see a continue of that one day. With the Cruellathon it did get annoying after a while but I liked the real personalities Horace & Jasper used as they got annoyed and also called for Pizza cause they were so bored, which is what I think real Telethon people would do. Still this episode was a nice addition to the 101 and I’m sure it would be appreciated by Spot haters and normal viewers. The episode’s decent, and I like it.FUN FACT: Look at one of the pups that trample Spot when Rolly says Thunderbolt is back on. It is none other than a fan character favourite KitDon’t believe me? Here’s a picture of him from the episode.
