His VA Danny Cooksey made his first ever acting appearence in a 6th season episode of the Dukes of Hazzard (which, ironicly, centered on the Sheriff's dog Flash). Ironically, his voice was dubbed (badly I might add) in that episode.
Cooksey is better known as Buttnik, the bully on the Nickeleon's comedy about kids at camp Salute Your Shorts, making him a perfect choice for a bully like Mooch.
Mooch was a flat out jerk on the show most of the time but he did have a soft side, showing a small amount of passion for Two-Tone and alot for Cadpig (who than broke his heart).
Boogity, Boogity, Boogity boys! Let's go racin'!

Danny Cooksey also did the voice of Montana Max on Tiny Toon Adventures, which is probably another reason why I liked Mooch's character.

Mooch is actually an interesting character. He strikes me as more passive-aggressive than aggressive-aggressive. He showed a soft side to Cadpig in My Fair Moochie so he can't be all bad. He actually became emotional and burst into tears when she dumped him. I actually felt sorry for him because I know his heart isn't ALL black like Cruella's. All he needs to do is balance his soft and hard sides and that would make him a really cool character.

I remember that episode! That was the episode where Mooch and Cadpig fell in love. If I remember correctly, Cadpig and Mooch were wandering in the swamp. They met each other and Cadpig jumped in front of him, ready to attack. Mooch presented her with a boot. Is that how it went? I'm not completely certain because I haven't seen the show at all in over three years.

I know that Mooch is possibly one of my favorite characters, as he's a bit nasty and tends to pick mainly on Lucky.
I think the only time I heard him barking during an instalment entitled "Mooove it on over!" when all the animals at Dearly Farm are starting a riot because of Cadpig's actions.

Mooch is one of my favorites, and kurtmanjp makes a really good point about his character. I only saw My Fair moochie once, but it is in my list of all time fave episodes (I haven't seen it in a while though, so if someone could put up a detailed description, or perhaps a link to where I might watch it, I'd be grateful).

Mooch, I agree, is an interesting character. He presents another challenge for Lucky aside from Cruella, as well as the rest of the main pups. But mostly Lucky. But as others have pointed out, he's not all bad. He does have a heart, as Cadpig had shown in My Fair Moochie... it's just often times very well hidden. And besides, I think it would get somewhat boring if Lucky just went up against Cruella all the time. ;D
