Scientific reason: Blue eyes are probably just a recessive trait. A member of a previous generation of their family most likely had blue eyes but they haven't shown up lately due to being overpowered by a dominate trait such as brown. Cadpig's alleles probably lined up in just the right way for her to get blue eyes while her siblings and parents do not have them.
Real reason: Cadpig has blue eyes because they make her cute and appealing to the audience.
Personally, I have never seen a dog of any kind with blue (or green) eyes in real life, I don't even know if they exist.

If two of them had the recessive gene, the chances of getting a puppy with blue eyes is ummm...let's see...1 in 4! This means that this trait should be actually more common among their puppies...or it was a genetic mutation in Cadpig!

For the record, Kenny is right, I don't like her. No real reason, just not a fan of the Cadpig. My fan character Patriot's dislike for "runt dog" as he called her is his main running gag.
Et tu, Martin?

Heh, you really think describing Cadpig as a little nuts is right? I mean, that would suit Jenny more.

How can anyone dislike Cadpig? Sure, she might drive some people nuts, but she's so cute and lovable! And she's strong too; that's why I like her.
