I've never seen those Buddies movies, but they look preeeeeeeeeeeeeeety bad.
It's like if "Homeward Bound" learnt to move their mouths with puppet or cgi effects, turned into puppies and got more Disney Tween Spirit. I mean, look at them, not only do they work in the snow but also have played basketball (does that sound familiar), been into space, and meeting the pun intended hero, "Santa Paws" The trailers looked bad to me =/
Still, you guys welcome to their opinion.

I don't think you guys are being fair. You're just being one of those a**holes who just takes a glimpse at a trailer, thinks about the concept and immediately says, "Oh, this is going to suck." If you actually watch the movies, you'll be really surprised. I watched all four of the Buddies movies, and they deliver a lot of great heart that take me back to the days of "101 Dalmatians". It's almost as if Disney is attempting to bring the series back, only they're making it into a completely different franchise for a new generation of kids.
Air Buddies was great. Snow Buddies was pretty good. Space Buddies was easily the worst but still ok. Santa Buddies was the best.
Believe me; they are worth watching!

Just because i don't like something due to something i have seen a preview of, doesn't mean i am an a**hole.
I saw the trailer and it was a clip from the movie. Like a preview. And it did seem pretty bad.
We're welcome to our own opinions but there's no need to call me that.

I gotta agree with Bab here a little bit. Just because he doesn't like a movie doesn't make him an a**hole. There are millions of people out there in this world who could be qualified as a**holes. Just because someone doesn't like the exact same thing you like doesn't make the other person an a**hole. Everybody is entitled to their own opinions.

Yeah, I'd sooner call Belchic an a**hole and that doesn't even have anything to do with this movie.

That's not the point. bab hasn't even seen the movie yet, but he already says that he doesn't like it. I just don't think he's being fair.

So you publicly curse him out for having a differing opinion. This is a 101 Dalmatians message board, not "Nancy Grace."
Considering what the point of the original "Air Bud" film was, I'd say it might be justified.
Not to mention "Santa Buddies" is just another happy holiday Christmas movie that completely dances around the fact that Christmas is supposed to be a celebration of the birth of our lord Jesus Christ and instead goes with bland commercialism. If this was released to theaters it would be Razzie bait.

Race does have a point of the Santa Buddies being commercialism.
I mean, at least in the Simpsons first christmas special, the morale was to share the love or in "The Santa Clause" was not to be selfish and love family Or "Its a Wonderful Life" telling us to respect life and live it to the max. Or even in the "Next Doctor" christmas special, they treat Christmas as a time to remember the good year and also honour those who have been lost.
Plus, i did see a clip. Like when you are given a sneak peek of the first 5 minutes, i saw that. Trust me, there are better christmas movies we can watch. =/
Just my opinion. Not an a**hole.

NO, NO, NO! I AM NOT CURSING BAB FOR HAVING A DIFFERENT OPINION THAN ME! THE ONLY THING THAT IS BOTHERING ME IS THE FACT THAT HE IS CRITICIZING SOMETHING THAT HE HASN'T SEEN YET!

NO, NO, NO! I AM NOT CURSING BAB FOR HAVING A DIFFERENT OPINION THAN ME! THE ONLY THING THAT IS BOTHERING ME IS THE FACT THAT HE IS CRITICIZING SOMETHING THAT HE HASN'T SEEN YET! dude... he just said he saw a preview of it multiple times ._. Seeing a preview alone allows people to form an opinion of a movie, despite not seeing the whole thing.

Hey, I just discovered something. In the Nostalgia Critic's latest review ("Jack Frost"), he said the term "Snow Buddies". I don't know if that was intended to be a reference or not, but I thought I'd point it out.

I really don't think it is. It's just a coincidence. I mean, if you had friends of whom you only know by playing in the snow with them, you call them "Snow Buddies" too. So, no reference, just coincidence

I really don't think it is. It's just a coincidence. I mean, if you had friends of whom you only know by playing in the snow with them, you call them "Snow Buddies" too. So, no reference, just coincidence I doubt that. I have never heard "snow buddies" used as a term of endearment. Never in my entire life. Well, just to let you all know, I did recieve "Santa Buddies" on DVD as a Christmas gift this year. I also want to let you know that I had found out something else about this franchise. It is still continuing! I thought at first that "Santa Buddies" was going to be the last movie in the series, but apparantley, a fifth movie is in the works: "Scary Buddies". I'm assuming this one is going to be Halloween-related. Anyway, as of right now, there is no Wikipedia page on it and nothing on IMDb, but Wikipedia's "Air Bud" page confirms that it is in the works and is scheduled for release in the fall of 2010.
