Who else likes this movie? It's my favorite movie of all time <3 Plus, it's also the 2nd Disney film I became 'obsessed' with (first was the 1961 dalmatians movie).
Brings back good memories for me, even remember going to the theater to see it! And I was like.. 3 years old, hehe.

In case anyone is interested, these are my personal Top 10 Disney Animated Classics:
#1 - 101 Dalmatians #2 - The Lion King #3 - Bolt #4 - Lilo & Stitch #5 - The Black Cauldron #6 - Sleeping Beauty #7 - Robin Hood #8 - The Hunchback of Notre Dame #9 - Make Mine Music #10 - Oliver & Company
In case anyone asks, I didn't include any of the Pixar movies because they qualify as their own seperate series. I also didn't include any of the live-action/animated hybrids like Mary Poppins, Pete's Dragon and Who Framed Roger Rabbit, because they don't count. There are other Disney movies that are animated; some are part of the D.A.C. catalog, and others are not.

I love the lion king. Although I have seen this really funny review of it on youtube that i'll post in the links section. It says that the lion ling is awful, but it is still really funny!

Some of you may disagree with me, but I think Lady and the Tramp, Mulan, Tarzan and Aladdin are very overrated Disney films (not as overrated as High School Musical, though).

This is sort of a random thought I came up with yesterday, but I felt like sharing it with you guys anyway.
What if "The Lion King" was released in the 1960's? If it was, we'd see Walt's special touch in there somewhere, and he might make it similar to "The Jungle Book". But who do you think the voice actors would be?
These are my assumptions of the possible voice actors for "The Lion King" if it were made in the 60's:
Young Simba - Butch Patrick Adult Simba - Gene Wilder Young Nala - Sandra Abbott Adult Nala - Cate Bauer Mufasa - Thurl Ravenscroft Sarabi - Hermoine Badley Timon - Don Adams Pumbaa - Phil Harris Rafiki - Scatman Crothers Zazu - J. Pat O'Malley Sarafina - Barbara Luddy Snenzi - June Foray Banzai - Paul Frees Ed - Mel Blanc Scar - Vincent Price
Do you think those sound like cool assumptions?

In my list of Top 10 Disney Animated Classics, this one ranks as my #2! absolutely agree. Lion King was my first big obsession and collectible hobby. After some time it was replaced by "101 Dalmatians". So I agree that it's the second best Disney's classic ever!! I love Lion King. I always loved Simba and Nala because they were so cute. I hated Scar when I was a kid, but I like him very much now, because he has some similarities with me. ;D just like him, I love power and domination Lion King rules!!!

I think that you forgot Nala's mother. She appeared in one scene during the movie

I think that you forgot Nala's mother. She appeared in one scene during the movie I added Sarafina to my cast. She's Barbara Luddy. If anyone wants to know where I came up with some of those names, feel free to jump in.
