I have no idea how my friend once shared this funny little video, but I had it faved under my videos on Facebook and now would probably be a good time to share it. No spoilers, just see it for yourself. I will say though, one specific character bears an uncanny resemblance to a very certain popular OC here. media.giphy.com/media/l0HlyENHiz17kILiE/giphy.gif

Is it wrong if the parody is better than the actual show?

Sonic fans do this all the time, but this video is funny:

Found this, it's storyboards from Shrek that had some of Chris Farley's original vocal recordings:

You want to know what a "What the Hell, Player?" trope is in video games? Funny video right here:

This is a combo of two tropes: "What the Hell, Player?" and "Shoplift and Die":

I have a very strong hunch the execs at Hardee's hadn't seen Gremlins at the time...

Hardee's had some weird movie tie-ins through the years and they tended to often lean toward the "it's not a kids movie but parents will probably bring the kids anyway" in the titles chosen. It's not surprising they had a tie-in offering toy race cars with food when "Days of Thunder" (my favorite movie) came out in 1990, they had a product placement so one of the movie's cars is sponsored by Hardee's, but this ad falls right into the same trap as the Gremlins one of they didn't really watch the movie beforehand did they...
...The Hardee's car is driven in the movie by the hero's mean rival racer not a fun loving guy like that ad implies. Bonus points too for sneaking in a race car with prominent branding for Kodiak chewing tobacco in a commercial promoting a toy (That was a real NASCAR at the time, not a car for the movie).
And what kid wouldn't want a meal themed after "Apollo 13"...

So, does this "anime" even count as animated when you do it like this? Also I think they paid whoever was supposed to do the English signs too much.
I've heard of limited animation but this is ridiculous.

That should barely be animation.
I like this video, it's more of a cute video but did you ever wonder what Gumball and UniKitty would be like if they were real kitties? We also have a real life Darwin and Puppycorn for good measure:

I can hear 1995 kids right now:
"You canceled Sonic SatAM for this thing!?"
