I decided to revise a topic from the archives.
Basically, in this topic, you talk about attractions you made up for a Disney theme park that is related to 101 Dalmatians. I'll start by retelling the one I made for the older topic to give you an idea:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Way of The Puppy
Attraction Type: 3D Show
Scope & Scale: Minor Attraction
Best Time to Go: Anytime
Duration: Approximately 18 minutes (not including the preshow)
Rating Scale for Age Group out of 10:
0-4 = 7
5-12 = 9
13-17 = 9
18-30 = 9
30-49 = 8
50+ = 6
Walkthrough of the Attraction:
(Guests are in a waiting room standing behind automatic doors.)
Cast Member: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, if I could have your attention for a moment here. Our presentation of “The Way of The Puppy” will begin in just a few moments. We ask that you please do not put your 3D glasses on until you are told to. I would also like to remind you that we do not allow any food, beverages or smoking at anytime during the show. If you do so wish to smoke, you will not have a very good chance of doing it, because you will get wet during the show. The show contains some special effects and noises that may be disturbing to some young children, so if you have a child, who is sensitive to such things, please warn them about it before the show. Once again, do not put your 3D glasses on until you are given the word. Please stand behind the yellow lines; the automatic doors will open momentarily.
(When the automatic doors open, guests walk in and take their seats. They find themselves in a theater, and are looking at a screen that shows a cloudy sky. Once everyone is seated, the automatic doors close, and a host or hostess comes in on the P.A.)
Cast Member: Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to our presentation of “The Way of The Puppy”. We should inform you that during the show, there is no flash photography or video taping allowed during the show. If you haven’t already, please take a moment now to turn off all cell phones and pagers. We ask that you all remain in your seats during the show, unless there is an emergency, then please use the emergency exits. Feel free to chant along when you are given the word to. Once again, there is no flash photography or recording of any kind during the show. The show will begin in just a few seconds, so you may now put your 3D glasses on. Alright, Gipdac; they’re all yours.
(The lights dim to pitch black, and the screen lightens up. The clouds cut away revealing Veris 5. The spacecraft comes out close to the audience. It then raises up out of view. A big flash occurs. The audience now experience a transporting effect. Another flash, and the audience finds themselves aboard Veris 5. After a few seconds, Gipdac floats onto the screen and comes out towards the audience.)
Gipdac: Welcome to Veris 5, field craft for Solar Sector 9 regional council. I am Gipdac. Your intolerance has brought you all here, as I come to take you on a special magical journey through the fun life of puppies. (She looks straight ahead. To an audience member it will look like she is looking directly at him or her.) Hmm? Well, you don’t look very good. (slight pause) Ah, yes. I’ll get a couple of handymen up here and see what they can do.
(Two animatronics of handymen rise from a corner of the theater.)
Handymen: You rang, oh Gipdac?
Gipdac: We have a transporter malfunction. See what you can do about fixing this person.
Handymen: Right away, ma’am.
(They push a few buttons. A little flash occurs.)
Gipdac: That’s much better.
Handymen: (lowering) It was our pleasure.
Gipdac: As I was saying…you have been brought here to learn a system of inner values: peace, interplanetary harmony, and stellar convergence. In other words, we are all here to learn…the Way of the Puppy. Come. Follow and learn. (Most of the Veris 5 fades away showing just Gipdac and a blue background.) Now I ask for everyone’s participation on this. Please hold hands with the person next to you, close your eyes, and say this chant with me…Bow…Wow…Bow…Wow…(Other voices are heard saying this chant with her.) Bow…Wow…Bow…Wow…
(A big flash occurs, and the audience experiences another transporting effect. The audience now finds themselves on Dearly Farm.)
(From this point to where I’m going to get to, the rest of the show is basically a new episode of 101 Dalmatians only with 3D and 4D effects.)
Gipdac: (comes into view) I apologize for interrupting your fun, but it’s time to return. Let’s do our chant…Bow…Wow…(Other voices are heard chanting with her.) Bow…Wow…Bow…Wow…
(A big flash occurs, and the audience experiences another transporting effect. The audience now finds themselves back on Veris 5.)
Gipdac: Well, how do you feel now that you have learned the Way of the Puppy? (a couple seconds pause) That’s good to hear. Well, I hope you all enjoyed your experience on this little journey. (a couple seconds pause) No thanks are necessary. Just remember what you have learned. Materialism and greed have no place in the world…and it’s really hard to get out of this position, isn’t it? Well, my time grew short. Thank you for participating on this journey with me. It is now time for you to return home. Farewell! Dematerialize in peace!
(Gipdac disappears. Veris 5 fades to outer space. Michael Jackson’s “Another Part of Me” plays as a Captain EO reference. The Veris 5 spacecraft comes up from below, hovers for a few seconds, then blasts off in the distance causing a shine to where it ends up. A title card reading “The Way of the Puppy” comes from the background to the front of the screen showing one more 3D effect, which then fades away.)
(The house lights come back on slowly.)
Cast Member: This concludes our presentation of “The Way of The Puppy”. (The automatic doors on the audience’s left open.) Please gather all of your belongings and exit to the doors on your left. And do enjoy the rest of your stay here at the Magic Kingdom.
