This affects me more than any other member, because I have a bit of a personal connection to him. You see, I was raised in a Monkee fan family so I grew to love them too. And you all know that I met Davy when I was a little girl.

Well, this is a dark time for some of us hardcore Disney fans. A couple days ago, Robert Sherman of the Sherman brothers passed away. He was a Disney legend and will surely be missed.

Aww, I looked up he was the composer of "Mary Poppins", "Winnie the Pooh" and even the "Small World" theme. =< That is sad news, considering he was such a great song writer, with songs that easily get stuck in your head. Heck, he may have composed "Feed the Birds" which was Walt's favourite song in all the Disney Films.
Still, Sad news for Disney Music then. =< Isn't it?

Another death happened today, D1ck Clark host of The American Bandstand, the $10,000 - $100,000 Pyramid and TV's Bloopers and Practical Jokes has passed away from a massive heart attack.
Sadly New Years Eve 2012 will not be the same without D1ck being there

Dick Clark is dead, now? Aww, man. He was a great host on the shows he's done. Future revivals of Pyramid probably won't be just as good as the versions he hosted. I mean, look at what happened to it when it was revived in 2002 with Donny Osmond as the host!

Even More Death happened today.
Greg Ham, the flautist of the Australian music group Men At Work, who played the iconic flute solo in their hit "Land Down Under" was found dead today at the age of 58.
I do not know what the cause of death was, but I'll get the info once released.

I heard my brother say last night that because of Clark's passing, there won't be anymore new years. Now I think I know what that 2012 rumor was all about. Whoever made it up forsaw d**k Clark's death and used this "end of the world" theory as a metaphor.

That actually is a pretty interesting theory, Belchic! So I give you points for that. ;3
Although, I am not an American, so I didn't really know who Dick Clark was. ^^; But he will be missed. I am sure.
I have heard of "Land Down Under" flute guy though, and that's sad too. Any news what he died of then?
