Aviation hero Denny Fitch also died earlier this month from cancer. Fitch was well-known for his role, along with the rest of the flight crew, aboard United Airlines Flight 282 in 1989 when the plane lost its hydraulic systems and almost all flight controls but the team somehow still managed to get the plane on the ground. They still crashed and 111 people were killed but 185 people survived in a situation where likely no one should have. www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l4pywdqvK4

Well, time to add another person to the Death list.
Robin Gibb, best known as the founder of the music group The Bee Gees, died today at age 62 after a lengthy battle with cancer and intestinal surgery. As you remember, earlier this year, he fell into a coma where he eventually regained consciousness and came out of the coma.
He will surely be missed.

I guess that means Barry is the only one left; all three of his brothers are gone now.

Got another Death notice to tell you.
Richard Dawson, famed Brit best known as the original host of game show "Family Feud" from 1976 to 1985 and again from 1988 to 1995, passed away Saturday at the age of 79 from oesophageal cancer . His son confirmed his death via Facebook today.
He is also known as the one who kissed every female contestant he could get his hands on when he hosted the game show.

Richard Dawson made Family Feud a very great game show. I think he was an excellent host on that show, even though I grew up with watching the show with Ray Combs hosting it.

Funny you mentioned that. Just yesterday, I saw the Wiiviewer's review of "Family Feud Decades", and he said that Richard Dawson was still alive. I guess I'll know what'll be appearing like crazy in the comments box of that video now.

R.I.P. Richard Dawson
Richard was also a panelist on Match Game in the 70s as well.

Oh, no. Not another death already. Richard Dawson died yesterday, and now Eduard Khil, too?

Hmm. That name does sound familiar. I know I've heard it somewhere before. What else did he do?

Legendary NASCAR owner/mechanic/driver Everett 'Cotton' Owens passed away today at age 88. Sad as it is Cotton lived long enough to see himself named to the NASCAR Hall of Fame last month.
R.I.P. Cotton

"Gone with the Wind" star, Ann Rutherford, died yesterday. She was 94! Who would've thought that a big movie star would live to see the next 70 years?
