I know, but I live in Fort Valley, GA. Hardly any Broadway musicals come here.

I would have really wanted to go. Especially since Cadpig was in it. If it was in New York City I definately would have gone.

Wow, that's really cool. I guess now we can say 101 Dalmatians has officially joined Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King as Disney films translated into Broadway musicals.

UGHH! I absolutely HATE musicals! I like 101 Dalmatians and all but when you turn that into a musical that just kills the whole thing!!!! (No offense to people who like musicals by the way!) Meh! Musicals aren't my kind of thing y'know!

I don't see how they can possibly make 101 Dalmatians into a musical, considering that it only had 2 songs (3 if you count the K9 Crunchies jingle), but if it ever comes to my town, I'll try to make time to go see it for sure!

Well it wouldn't be the first time they made a musical out of something that almost had no songs. For example Legally Blond, Billy Elliot, and Shrek. All 3 of those are Musicals on Broadway in NYC.

Cadpigfan is right Belchic. Just because it wasn't originally a musical doesn't mean it can't be. I mean, Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast & Wicked were books before going to stage, so at least give it a chance. Besides, it be interesting to see how some scenes are played out in musical. Maybe they'll be a love song between Roger and Anita or something like that. Wonder if it'll be more like the animated storyline or the live action one. Still, shame i am not American so i can't see it...TO YOUTUBE

Yeah, you'll never know. In the musical, they could add songs from any of the movie's deleted scenes. Speaking of which, I just so happen to have found one. And here it is!

Well, it couldn't work for some musicals. Young Frankenstein wasn't a musical movie, they made it into a musical, and it didn't turn out good at all.

Well that movie doesn't sound good from the start.
101 Dalmatians is good, so it does have potential.
Another non musical movie which has a musical version more recognisable than the orginal "Little Shop Of Horrors"

Well, I don't think it's a good idea to take a classic comedy with so many well-known actors and then make it into a musical stage play. It just doesn't work that way. Spam-a-Lot seemed to work because it was produced by the Monty Python guys.
