So, wait...The series is over? "Last", as in, "most recent". I don't even think they're halfway through the first season at this point. You guys keep telling me that I can watch it, but you're lying! I already told you that I can't! I DON'T GET THE HUB! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU THIS? ... The post you replied to had a link that you can click on to watch an episode on the website. How do you keep missing that? We've been telling you that The Hub uploads episodes onto their website for quite some time now. You don't need The Hub to visit The Hub's website.

Sorry, Hunty. I guess I was just too upset that I didn't feel like paying attention. I thought you all were just going to keep hooting and hollering over the show and not provide me with anything.
Ahem...okay, so after visiting the Hub's website, I got a chance to see the show for the first time. I saw the latest episode, "The General" which claims to be Episode 4, so by the looks of things, it looks like I didn't miss much. However, I still have something to rant on. There are only two episodes available, so apparantley, I missed the first two. I feel rather jipped, because they've got a ton more episodes of that "My Little Pony" show on the Hub's website, but only two of the "Pound Puppies"? WTF?
On a whole, this looks like something I'll be watching on a regular basis for the time being. Lucky's voice sounded a lot like Jeff Bennett, even though he isn't really. Cookie, I must say, is a real b*tch. The other three main dogs I don't think have enough development for me to get to know them yet.
Anyway, you guys keep me posted when new episodes get uploaded onto the site, especially if they have a part that I might like (if you know what I mean).

Well, apparantley, unluckily for me, the Hub does upload episodes of the show onto their website, but they get taken down after some time. So those first two that Race posted it looks like I'll never see. I guess that's what I get for missing out. But you know what, somebody here told me this: "If you don't want people to rub your nose into it, then don't come to this thread." Well, I did just that. However, that was a huge mistake, because the episodes have been uploaded to the Hub's website, and people have been providing links all along. However, some of those episodes have since been taken down. So by the looks of things...I'm fu cked. I'm never going to see those first two episodes now. GOD DAMMIT, WHY DOES THIS ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?

They have aired six episodes and I have a feeling they only have 13-22 made so it's likely they will cycle around again like any show.
Bringing you up to speed... The first episode was just a "meet the gang" style intro, the second one was a Halloween special and the third one was "Rebound" and centered around Niblet and guest starred Betty White are McLeish's mother. The next two are on the site, the sixth one will likely replace "The General" which you already watched in the next few days.

Wow. I guess I missed a lot more than I thought. Well, keep me updated when any new episodes get posted on the website (you could have PM'd me). I don't want to miss them again. Too bad there's no other way to watch the episodes other than getting the Hub.

I finally saw the one with their distaff feline counterparts and was surprised they didn't reuse the "Pound Purries" name and instead went with the more original but less toyetic "Kennel Kittens."
Was an interesting concept but I couldn't help but think it would have gone better if both sides weren't at each other throats for most of it, you basically know going in they'll eventually team up to get both the puppy and the kitten adopted so why have them going out of their way to screw the other guys over (admittedly they started that because of a miscue but it still seemed forced at times) for most of the episode. The humor seemed more on the money when they were in agreement anyway or at least just doing their thing (their plans to make their side look good were more fun than the ones to make the other look bad although the dogs were cute with the fake kitty teeth).

I didn't like today's episode. Didn't like the plot. Really didn't like the ending. I thought that the two junkyard dogs at the end made a cute couple, but that's not really much of a saving grace. Regardless, it looks like we might not get another new episode for a while.

Hmmn, wow, this is rather interesting. I knew the Pound Puppies thing sounded familiar ! I had one of those toys back in 3rd grade; my friend gave me one for my birthday and I didn't know how to turn the silly thing off. It would be barking and making noises all throughout the night, haha ! x'D It was one of our little jokes back then. I had no idea they had a show, however - though I can say one thing, the original definitely lives up to what looks like an 80's cartoon (actually, more so like the style of most 60's cartoons, at least in my own opinion). My curiosity sort of peaked and I took a look at that first episode of the new series. It is rather interesting to see that they have a show for a toy brand that I hadn't even remembered existed up until now, since there are so many others like Webkinz that overshadow them in our current generation. It makes me wonder if not only the show will be successful for kids, but also if it might get the Pound Puppies toys back into business (I'm not sure if they still are; but like Furbies, they seemed to have died in the 90's, or at least diminished because I haven't really seen them around my local toy stores as of late... but if they do, I'd like to see if this new remake of an old show makes them become more popular than they are now, haha).

I've got some things to say about both those episodes I just saw. First of all, I had a couple problems viewing both of them:
The first one, for some reason, went into bad quality just before the first commercial break.
The second one, for some reason, just stopped at 17:53, but I replayed it at that part, and it finished to the end.
Now, I gotta say some things about the Halloween episode:
First of all, I was surprised to hear Pamela Aldon's voice in this one. I could clearly recognize Lucky's voice.
Also, I was a little disappointed when Lucky, Cookie and Niblet were dressing up in costumes saying that they were going to pretend to be human and stand on their hind legs. I thought for sure they were going to do a totem pole trench, but unfortunately, they didn't. It was pretty close, though. So far, I haven't seen it happen, not even a standard totem pole, but I'm sure an episode will eventually come when they will do that. I mean, they're dogs, and they're a good size, so they've got some advantages and perfect opportunities.
Wow. I can't believe I'm actually expressing my feelings on the show with you guys! I'm one of you guys now! ;D
