Exactly, thank you Almaron.
Though, I don't think Freckles did talk in "Patchs London Adventure" but he did have a red collar. And also true how Most male children in animation are played by girl, i mean; Lucky and Rolly are played by females and some people say 4Kids made Tails from Sonic sound girlish. Still, we know they're male.
Like i already explained Disney said in the movie whoever had a red collar is male (like Pongo) and whoever had Blue collar was female.
Freckles + Red Collar = Boy Pepper + Blue collar = Female
I got evidence. See it now?
I mean, you love 101. You'd be expected to do a little research to prove it.

Belchic, I made a mistake in my posting. None of these puppies are related to the Dearlies. Sorry again ^^;

I was doing a bit of research on this last night, and came up with what MAY be the names of the original 15- Lucky Rolly Cadpig Patch Two-Tone Dipstick Whizzer Penny Freckles Pepper Fidget Bon-Bon Salter Blot Jewels --- This is just a theory based on what we said and what I know. Other resources say that these are the original 15: Lucky, Thunder, Rolly, Patch, Pepper, Penny, Cadpig, Freckles, Purdy, Wizzer, Jewel, Dipstick, Two-Tone, Fidget

Personally, I wouldn't say some of those are the names of the original 15. Why have a pup named Thunder when we already have Thunderbolt? Why have a pup named Purdy when we have Perdy? And why have Bon-Bon when there's a one-shot character in the episode, "Cadpig Behind Bars" named Bon-Bon? It may be possible that Blot could be one of the pups as well.

Alright. The list has been updated. So far, we have 40 pups. 22 boys and 18 girls. Also, I hope you don't mind, bab, but I changed Blackie and Whitie to Blot and Dot because more people seem to speculate those names to be official than the other ones.

You know, I don't quite get it, either. It's what almost every Internet resource says that the original 15 included Thunder, Purdy, and Spotty. But I personally don't know. And as for Bon-Bon, I'm kinda sure she was part of the original 15, but even if she's not, I already have a Dalmatian character named Bon-Bon (Damien's future girlfriend). And what I told you earlier about none of my dalmatians being related to the Dearlies, I wasn't clear: They are part of the original 99. Sorry for not clarifying.

I think that Purdy and Thunder were conjectural names added initially by someone who listened for any potential names, and added Purdy, when hearing Pongo address Perdita, and Thunder, when hearing the pups watch TV.
It is totally conjectural which of the pup names we decide to use for the fifteen. This was the logic I used when choosing the names I did.
Out of Blackie, Whitie, Blot, Dot, Jolly, Latch, Lenny:
*Latch, Lenny & Jolly seem the least likely, as they are just similar names to Patch, Penny and Rolly. Plus, with only two empty places, we'd have to pick which pup name to ditch.
*Blackie and Whitie are good candidates, so it could be them.
*Dot is unlikely, as the name is too similar to Dottie, and if they are the same pup, it would mean incest (her marrying Dipstick). However, since Blot is the similar name, it might mean that they should be part of the same family (i.e. not Dearlys).
*However, if Bon-Bon is added in place of Dot, it means that each name is different, and none of them sound similar (Pepper and Salter remain, but their names don't sound the same).
BTW, Bon-Bon may not be the right spelling, that was my attempt to translate it into english (It was spelt Bombôn, and it (apparently) stated that he was one of the pups. The canonicity of it is questionable, however). His name in english could be something like Chocolate (He had brown spots, which might actually not make sense if the rest of the pups had black spots).

Your very right, I'm pretty sure Jolly, Latch, and Lenny can't be part of them. Pepper I KNOW is one of the original, but I really haven't heard of Salter OR Blot until I found this thread. And as for Bonbon, I'm still keeping the name for another character (Like I said, she's Damien's girlfriend). But thank you for this information, Almaron ^-^

I would have to concur. Latch, Jolly and Lenny sound like the names of uncreative fancharacters made by some insane child who's under 15, or something like that. P.S., that comment was not intended to offend anyone.
