Anyone who remembers these, feel free to talk about them here.
It kind of sucks that Disney decided to discontinue them. I had a thought, though. I noticed that each sing-along that came out had a theme to it. If they were still making them today and came out with a sing-along based on "The Princess and the Frog", here's how I think it would be like.
The sing-along will be called "Almost There", and the theme to it would be "following your dreams". Here's how I think the playlist of it would have been:
1. Almost There (
The Princess and the Frog)
2. I Thought I Lost You (
Bolt)
3. A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes (
Cinderella)
4. You'll Be In My Heart (
Tarzan)
5. Not in Nottingham (
Robin Hood)
6. Will the Sun Ever Shine Again (
Home On the Range)
7. When We're Human (
The Princess and the Frog)
8. Reflection (
Mulan)
9. Someday My Prince Will Come (
Snow White and the Seven Dwarves)
10. Nobody Else But You (
A Goofy Movie)
11. Out There (
The Hunchback of Notre Dame)
12. Dig a Little Deeper (
The Princess and the Frog)
Does that sound like a suitable playlist?
Oh my gosh! I used to love these!
And, it is sad that Disney doesn't do these anymore. These were a big part of a lot of kids childhoods. I only owned two unfortunately I had Heigh Ho, and The Bare Necessities. I wish I had more though. Disney really needs to re release these again.
