Hey, Pups. X3
Figure we should talk more on the, "101 Dalmatians" Franchise. X3
So, How about we talk about the, Homages made in the, "101 Dalmatians The Series"? X3
A case would be how, "Twelve Angry Pups" is such a homage to the film "Twelve Angry Men", along with some reference as I hear they use the, "Escape On The White Bronco" piece for the, Episode as well. X3
"The Making Of..." can have tones of, Homages in the episode. Cases can be like, "The Dearly Bunch" as a homage to "Brady Bunch". Or, "First Blood Hound: Part Two", A homage to, Rambo. Or even, Spot & Cruella, re-creating a RoadRunner Animation.
If you, Pups have any other Homages, you like to add, feel free to do so. *Hugs* X3
Looking forward to seeing what, Homages you have too. *Hugs* X3

I know, another one as well. X3
In, "Home Is Where The Bark Is", aside from, Jocks cameo appearance, There is actually a homage to, "Airplane!". When, Cruellas car is crushed in the threaser, Cruella says "I picked the wrong week to stop smoking..." This can be taken from, "Airplane!" when the guy running the, Airport says this, along with, stop sniffing glue.
Also, Spot actually refers to two real things. In "You Say It's Your Birthday", Spot actually refers to, Vulcans from, Star Trek ("Maybe pulled a Vulcan Mind Melt...IT CAN HAPPEN!") Along with, "Four Stories Up" where, Spot actually gets turned into, Colonel Saunders from, KFC. O.O
There is even an "Independence Day" reference in "Prima Dog". While, Lucky is recording one of the adverts, A UFO is shown to shoot a City and, Lucky hides from the explosion inside a small side door within a Car Tunnel. X3
Still, You do get what i'm refering to, Cuddly. X3
Looking forward to what you, Pups notice as, Homages. X3

Here are some homages I know of off the top of my head:
"Purred It Through the Grapevine" is a parody on a motown song called "I Heard It Through the Grapevine".
"You Say It's Your Birthday" is an homage to a 1968 Beatles song; the song is called "Birthday", but it's often mistaken for "You Say It's Your Birthday".
"Love 'Em and Flea 'Em" is a parody on a Kiss song called "Love 'Em and Leave 'Em".
"Shake, Rattle and Woof" is a parody on a 1950's song called "Shake, Rattle and Roll".
"Citizen Canine" is an homage to the supposed greatest movie of all time, "Citizen Kane".
"Full Metal Pullet" is an homage to a 1980's movie called "Full Metal Jacket".
"Alive 'N Chicken" is an homage to a song by Simple Minds called "Alive N Kickin'".
"Dog Food Day Afternoon" is an homage to a 1970's movie called "Dog Day Afternoon".
"Lord of the Termites" is an homage to a book called "Lord of the Flies".
"An Officer and a Gentledog" is a parody on "An Officer and a Gentleman".
In "Rolly's Egg-Celent Adventure", at one point Rolly says the refrain to the Beatles song, "Get Back".
"Invasion of the Doggie Snatchers" is a parody on "Invasion of the Body Snatchers".
"The Maltese Chicken" is a parody on "The Maltese Falcon".
"Bad to the Bone" is a song by George Thorogood and the Destroyers.
In "Cruella World", Swamp Rat says a part of the "Beverly Hillbillies" theme song.
"Frisky Business" is a parody on "Risky Business".
"The Life You Save" is a song by the Jackson 5.
"Shipwrecked" makes a lot of references to "Gilligan's Island".
"The Good-Bye Chick" is a parody on "The Good-Bye Girl".

The recurring characters of Ahab and Starbuck are parodies of the characters of the same name in Herman Melville's classic novel "Moby d**k."
In one episode Swamp Rat refers to having a "57 Chevy...muffler." A "57 Chevy" is the common way to refer to a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, one of the best known American cars of all time.

Really interesting topic you guys have here. I should find some myself, though I already knew the origins behind the title "You Say It's Your Birthday" c; "The Maltese Chicken" is a parody on "The Maltese Falcon". How weird! My friend Katie (the one with the Dalmatians figures) also has a "Maltese Falcon" poster in her basement! I find that to be pretty funny; she has Dal figures and a "Maltese Falcon" poster, and one of the 101:TAS titles is "The Maltese Chicken". What are the odds?

I notice one, when seeing, Races entry. X3
In, "Shipwrecked" & "You Say It's Your Birthday", look upon the Bow of, Captain Ahabs ship. The woman on it is that of, Arieal from, Little Mermaid.
In, "Dalmatian Vacation Part 3", Roger watches a film which gets him to start searching for, Anita. This film is a parody to "Casablanca".
If you look closely in, Rollys belongings in "Roll Out The Pork Barell", You notice that he has a, Mickey Mouse doll.
While, Cruellaworld looks like a homage to, Disneyland. Cruella looks at a poster to a theme park called "Two Flags Over Gruteley"...As you can tell, a Homage to "Six Flags".
Still, Good homages so far, Pups. X3 What other Homages can we notice? X3

At the beginning of "Dogs of De Vil", Cadpig and Spot are watching a soap opera that's a parody on the ABC soap opera, "General Hospital".
At the beginning of "The High Price of Fame", the main pups were attempting to submit a video to "Stupendously Embarrassing Home Videos", which is a parody on "America's Funniest Home Videos".

Good topic. I should see if I can find any.
In "Four Stories Up", Lucky's story is a send-up of Baywatch, Rolly's is of The Love Boat, Cadpig's is Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Spot's is Godzilla.
