The first live action movie is a great movie i love it, but 102 Dalmatians is not the best option to continue the saga. A Movie about The Starlight Barking is a better idea because is the true sequel by the great Dodie Smith, and Cadpig are the principal character =)

Due to my lack of internet I was able to see something interesting today. On ABC Family they played both live action dalmatians films in proper order I watched them of course, haha.

Oooh, Lucky NEMO! 83
It makes sense it appears on ABC, as it is a Disney owned Network. Sky Movies where I am are airing the "Live Action" "101 Dalmatians" Alot recently. =3
It has been a while since I have seen "102 Dalmatians" though, True, I've played the game, but those are a bit of different stories. ^^;
I remember, "102 Dalmatians" was a little bit more toony than the First one, but still is an Amusing Experiance to have. X3
I really need to check at out again, Maybe I can ask to have it put on my IPOD when I head to America! =3
What did you think of it then, Nemo? =3

I can't really say much about this movie. I don't really care much for the live-action Dalmatian movies. They don't hold the same charm as the animated stuff or the books (I've never played any of the video games, so I can't say anything about them).

I thought the first one was pretty good on release but I thought the second one sucked. It wasn't so much a Dalmatians film as a "Cruella" movie to allow Glenn Close to show off and the plot holes show (You can NOT take a steam engine under power through the Chunnel. You'll chock everyone with the smoke). The lack of almost anyone from the first film, including the heroic leads in Roger & Anita and Pongo & Perdita, holds it back too.
I did rewatch some of the first one this weekend though and I didn't find it as funny though. Still it's a fun movie and great for kids.

Well, be fair. The movie is supposed to take place later in the timeline. During the time when the puppies have grown up, lived with new owners, had pups of their own, and Pongo and Perdita have likely passed on.

I would assume Pongo & Perdita are like, Four Years old at least in the "Live Action" "101 Dalmatians".
If "102 Dalmatians" takes place, four years after the first one, I would assume, Pongo & Perdita would still be alive, living with Roger & Anita and their Child, along with Nanny.
Although, Like Belchic said, It is plausible that Dipstick was adopted, either that or pulled a Pongo, when he first saw Dottie. ;3
Alonso (Cruella's Butler) did become an Ascended Extra for the Movie though, from having one or three lines, to almost a primary role. o.o Didn't he?

I actually prefer this to the first live-action! I haven't watched it in years, though, and have been meaning to give it another watch for a while. My opinions on it may well have changed again, so perhaps I will edit this comment once I've re-watched it. Edit 15th Feb: Was able to watch this again a few days ago! It felt like a fairly 'low key' film, but no problem with that and it was pretty satisfying watching, still. A few funny moments which I remembered were coming, but still had a little chuckle over. Helps for me that Ioan is in it. Nice little film!
