Bab and I were discussing this a while ago. I've watched a few reviews from different people on ThatGuyWithTheGlasses and ThatFellowInTheCoat, and they inspired me to come up with this idea!
I was wondering if all of us here at Sparky's would as a community make our own website like those. In this website, we will each have our own review-style show (much like Nostalgia Critic, Linkaria, Huey Lewis, Film Buff, etc.) where we will post videos on a regular basis.
I don't know the first thing about making web sites, but if there is someone who can or is learning how to, take this into consideration.
Anyway, here's the whole point of me making this topic: -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If this were to happen, what would your show be like? Please tell us what your show's name will be and what the concept of the show will be like.
For example, on my show, I will be known as "The Saturday Morning Kid". In my show, I will review classic Saturday morning cartoons from the 80's and 90's, and maybe also the 2000's. When I'm on camera, I will be wearing pajamas, and I'll have a bowl of cereal with me.
Also, my show's theme song will be this (starting at 0:50, but audio only with various cartoon clips playing over it):
In case you guys ask, yes, "101 Dalmatians" was at one time a Saturday morning cartoon, and actually that intro above was to the block that it played on in my country! And yes, I do plan to include that show on my episode list; in fact, I'm also planning to do that episode as a collab with babclayman!
I really hope you pups see this topic and contribute to it, because I'd really like to hear what kind of series' you guys might end up doing. Oh, and don't worry about having the time or the software at the moment. For now, let's just imagine if anything was possible.

Well, While I remember talking about this. I myself would say, it makes more sense to post our videos on Youtube, possibly we can put them in a sub category on "Reviews", titled "Video Reviews". X3 Though, I do like your idea for your Review Series. I myself nave this one idea, of course, I'll explain more later. X3
Still, like said We can post the Reviews here. You know how stressful to run a site like TGWTG? ^^;
What do you Pups think? X3

If I do this, it's would be my voice and voice only. I'm with Bab. I'm a bit iffy of showing off what I look like
However, the bad news, I have no idea on creating a website =/ so I'll have to pass

That is definitely an interesting idea, though I don't think I'll be able to do this. Cause well... I'm not good at video editing

That sounds like a fun idea. Really, if I had the resources to do so, I would have already made reviews for lots of things. 101 Dalmatians the series would be one of them. However, getting the episodes in order to make a video would be a problem.
My show would be called... Well I never thought of giving it a name. Perhaps you could make a suggestion. Anyway my show would be quite simple. I would review any movie or series from any genre. I wouldn't be shown on camera. My videos would be clips from the show/movie played while I talk. My theme song and intro would be clips from the movie/show playing over a song that seems appropriate for whatever I am reviewing. The song could be the theme song or a sound track from the show/movie, or it could be an unrelated song that has lyrics appropriate for what I am reviewing.
There is my idea. I don't think it will ever happen but it is what I would do if I could.

X3 The problem with posting vids on YouTube is that if we do it that way, first of all, each of us will just have our own seperate video accounts, and we won't seem much like a community. Second of all, with YouTube, you have to consider their 15 minute limit, their 1 GB file size limit, and above all, copyright violations. If we had our own website, we'd seem more like a community and have a bit more freedom to do whatever we want. However, the bad news, I have no idea on creating a website =/ so I'll have to pass That is definitely an interesting idea, though I don't think I'll be able to do this. Cause well... I'm not good at video editing Uh...did you guys read what I said in my last paragraph? I said, "Don't worry about having the time or the ability; just imagine if anything was possible." Believe it or not, I'm not able to do this kind of stuff either, but we can all still dream, can't we? I was also thinking in my series that I would ask people to send me episode clips of shows they want me to review. That way, I can have the data I need to work with. Regardless, I'm still going to wait until the day this website gets made and I get a new computer, a new video-editing software, and preferably some more external hard drives. Now, could we please talk more about what your possible show will be like (assuming that anything is possible and disregarding the issues you may have)?

I see what Shadow's trying to get at. He's planning on doing his vids kinda like Confused Matthew, where all that's shown is a hand-drawn characature of himself. Correct me if I'm wrong, Shadow.

Well you're right, except for the caricature of me. I'll probably upload a picture of the show or game I'm reviewing

Okay, let's see what we've got for our dream cast so far...
Belchic - The Saturday Morning Kid babclayman - The Overrated Oblivion Modern Major General - The General Drake - Mr. Pen (I'll change that if Drake wants something different.)
...and that's all so far. I'll update this list if anyone else wants to give me some ideas.

Only thing I would do is reviews in writting on movies, games and what have you. But that's it, no video thing or anything like that, people will have to, dare I say it, read! Le gasp, that means they are going to have to use their brains some more. My word, what is the world coming to? XD

Say, since we're discussing this, as long as we have our "dream shows", why don't we talk about our possible episode lists. By this, I mean, make a list of stuff you would plan to do videos of. This isn't an official set in stone list, but it's something that could work.
For example, here is a list of shows I plan to review as "The Saturday Morning Kid":
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Garfield and Friends Tiny Toon Adventures Taz-Mania Sonic SatAM Darkwing Duck Recess Timon & Pumbaa Where's Waldo? 101 Dalmatians (collab with the Overrated Oblivion) Hysteria! Pinky and the Brain Earthworm Jim Digimon Road Rovers Sam and Max Transformers
That's all I can come up with for now. I can't wait to see the Overrated Oblivion's list! In fact, this could actually be a good place to give requests to the people who run these shows!

It's really sad that nobody else seems to be too enthusiastic over this idea of mine.
I re-read some of your guys' ideas, and I see that you have shared what the styles of your review shows are like, but your concepts are way too broad. Nobody is really specifying what kinds of movies, tv shows, video games, etc. they will be reviewing. What are the themes of your shows?
Your show needs to have a specific theme in order to identify who you are. For example, in my show, I review nostalgic Saturday Morning cartoons; in bab's show, he reviews popular movies that he thinks are overrated. Does that make sense to you?
