Hello everyone, I wanted to put this possible rule up for discussion instead of adding it and saying 'new rule's added be sure to read it' and etc.. so people could get an opinion first.
Ironically I had this rule idea for quite some time, but was unsure about implementing it fearing the reaction some of you might give me. But Bab also brought up the suggestion as well to me on YIM, so I think I'll open discussion.
The new rule would be, that if a person misses their turn in the roleplay five times. Not three, not four, but five times, then the person will be taken out of the rp and not allowed back in. Because, we want the rp to be moving, not waiting days for someone to reply.
The only way a person could 'get around this' was if they started the rp themselves. Like for example, Flo wouldn't be able to be banned from The Disabled Visitor rp, since it is her rp. Another way to get around would be say, if the person is on vacation or etc..
So, discuss here.
Remember, MAJORITY beats Minority when it comes to these things.
For the rule: Nemo, General, TT, Bab, Flo, Kit, Shadow, Bishop

I support this. I was actually thinking about it when people kept missing their turns in Cadpig's BIG adventure.
Please specify though. Do you mean five times in a row or five times in a month or five times total?

I've noticed that rp being slow, along with Bab's Christmas one. And it would be 5 times missed total.
And thank you Two-Tone.

Ah, Yeah! I remember this Discussion.
I mean, It is okay if someone is on Vacation, since they wouldn't be able to get online to post. So you can be fair with them there. And it's only right that the Creator or the RP should be allowed to keep in the RP as well, since it was their idea. X3
I will agree, The RPs here have been pretty slow lately, I mean, Christmas is just 12 days away, and we've barely reached three pages in the "Christmas RP". =s I don't want it to be quiet or just fade off.
So, I say, Good Rule. With Five Times, I will agree it is fair amount. Though, I hope Pups will be able to pick up and keep an eye of when it's their turn in an RP, be good to get some activity in RPs again! =3
Still, Looking forward to seeing how this works. X3

I think this is a good idea. I have noticed that some people missing their turns in rp's have been happening a lot lately, and I thought it would be a good idea to discuss that.

Well I've done some thinking.
I originally was against this rule since when I go to Warm Springs, I would automatically be banned from the RP. Since I have to stay there Monday through Friday, 5 days right there.
But when Bab said that we would be exempt from being kicking out since on Vacation or other things that make us miss our turn, that made me change my mind.
So I am all for this rule. Maybe then this will teach people to not miss their turn.

JA don't worry Shadow it won't affect you since you are going away.
And yes it should teach them x3

I'm glad we chose to be less beurocratic. Of course we UNDERSTAND the exceptions. Being informed about absence is nice, though.

Yes, being informed should be a must as well. And from the looks of it, I say this rule is going to happen (I'll give it 2 more days), unless more than 8 people happen to suddenly say they hate it XD

Mmm...I'm currently undecided on this one. I think it sounds good, but I also think it doesn't seem fair either.

I can see why you say that.
Though if you didn't see the bottom of the original post, if a user is say.... on vacation, going away, (anything similar here), then they're exempt from this rule (aka they won't be taken out of the rp). But letting us know ahead of time that they're going away or etc. would be appreciated.
