how about people just try to be reasonable when they put up a signature picture? Is that so much to ask?

I suggested this once, but everyone just told me to shut up about it.

I'm gonna butt in where I have no business. I make sigs and mine are all within the range of 200 up and 700 or 800 across unless I make a rare accepttion

Well, I never implemented a signature size limit because I feel people should be their own judge on the size of their signature pictures. I'm not gonna make a rule about something like that, but it is common courtesy to make it reasonable.

People can also decide if they want tosee someone's avatar, sig and whatever, so if they dont want to see them, they can turn it off, if they have a problem with the size

That is very reasonable Sparky. I stated a while back, but I think they should be courteous about the sizes. Some people's signatures make my screen stretch o.o

Well ya the signatures could be turned of at your preference, but as a general courtesy lets keep them reasonable. Especially if there are still users out there using dial up, (trust me I had dial up up to like 2008) and the pictures really take a long time to load and all that.

I just now decided to post this. First of all I like your pic Belchic. I just have been holding out on this because you are suggesting we lower the width so others dont have to sidescroll but what about TALL pictures like yours?

Well, tall pictures aren't quite as annoying because they don't require a horizontal scrollbar.
