Well, that's good to hear that Cathy Calavandi, E.G. Daily and Tara Strong will all be coming back to reprise their roles. Though I don't think they'll bring back Tom Kane to voice the Professor and HIM, he's retired from voice acting ever since he suffered a stroke two years ago.

Well thats good.
Is this ignoring the 2016 series like how Ghostbusters: Afterlife ignores the Paul Feig movie?

Well thats good. Is this ignoring the 2016 series like how Ghostbusters: Afterlife ignores the Paul Feig movie? I think in a way, this is kind of similar to how Toho responded to the 1998 Godzilla movie, or how the 2013 Ninja Turtles movie ignored the 2007 Ninja Turtles movie, or how the 2008 Incredible Hulk movie ignored the 2003 film. Craig McCracken probably was so appalled by the 2016 reboot of the Powerpuff Girls and hearing about the upcoming series being made for the CW, and he probably thought, "To hell with it. If nobody can get these girls right, then I'll just do it myself!"

This news did make me wonder how it may affect the “Live Action” Powerpuff Series, which the CW is apparently making.
That show is reportedly still in development, but it seems while she was Blossom for the Pilot, Chloe Bennet is not in the Series now.
Has Craig McCraken made any comments on the CW Series?

From what I heard, Craig McCracken is unsure about the idea after seeing what happened with the 2016 series, so that’s why he’s making his own reboot. As for the CW series, I think they’re considering canceling it.

From what I have read, they claim it is still in production, although, Blossom is being recast.
The first Pilot was apparently rejected for being “Too Campy”, which does make me concern that they intend to make the show dark, colourless and cynical, and it also makes me wonder if they are making another season of Charmed, just with a different IP?
You Know what I mean!?

I just got word that the CW has decided not to make the "Live-Action" Powerpuff Girls Series, that they were developing.
Probably a good call, as I say before, it was likely that the CW would have tried to make it "Riverdale" like. So, much like their Charmed Reboot, they would have made Powerpuff Girls Dark, Colourless and Cynical. Something like that would not be the type of tone that would work for a Powerpuff Girls Series.
I do wonder if, part of the reason they have shelved this idea is because the attempted reboot of the "Animated" Powerpuff Girls?
