I vote for Rio. I frankly really like WTP. I wish that it got nominated too.

Well, hope is not a strategy, CPF. You can't hope for something to be in the Academy Awards and have it win.
I was very disappointed in last year's Academy Awards, though. Last year, there were so many amazing animated movies that came out! Yet the final result ended up with only three! WTF? They put Toy Story 3, How to Train Your Dragon and The Illusionist as the nominees, but not Tangled, Despicable Me and Alpha & Omega? If they did five nominees for 2009, why do only three for 2010? The Oscars are just as rigged as the Annies!

I could under Alpha and Omega not getting in. I for one LOVEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD A&O with a very deep passion but apparently to just about every critic in the world this movie was a BOMB. I really don't understand that but there are a lot of movies that should have been nominated last year.
1. Despicable Me
2. Legend of the Owls of Gahoole
3. How To Train Your Dragon
4. Tangled
5. Alpha and Omega(I still really don't think it should be judged on if people liked it or not. The point is it was a good movie)
I would be happy if just 2 or 3 of those suggestions got on. How Legend and Despicable Me didn't get on there I will never understand.

Well, while we're on the subject, I still can't understand why Tangled didn't get nominated for Best Animated Feature. I mean, Bolt and Princess and the Frog were both nominated, but Tangled actually grossed more and was far more successful than both of those two films, so it deserved to be nominated as well. It just doesn't make any sense to have a year with so many great animated films, yet they only chose three to give an Oscar to. That's almost as equivelant to making a list of the Top 5 episodes of a superior cartoon show rather than a Top 20 list! But I ridiculously digress.

Hmmm, Maybe it was the length the Movie, perhaps? I actually admit, it was one of the more shorter Disney Movies, I have seen in a while.
I guess there were a lot of Animated Films lately, that it would be a bit difficult to fit them all in.
But still, it’s the Oscars, there can only be one winner for each catergory. Wouldn’t be much of a competition if Everyone won, would it? ^^;
Any news on the Awards yet? When is the Ceremony then? =3
