Hello, guys. I was just thinking while I was at work tonight what it would be like if Disney decided to make a new 101D TV series, and it was based around the fantasy world we created? Well, if it were to happen, this is how I think the series would play out.
This series called "The New Adventures of 101 Dalmatians" will be pretty much a continuom of the original 1997 TV series, but there will be a few changes.
Like the original series, Lucky, Cadpig and Rolly will be the main three stars of the series. As for other pups, well, there will be some changes. Patch and Two-Tone will be promoted from background pups to major characters; they will not be constantly featured in every single episode and go along with the main pups on every adventure they take, but they will have larger roles and be prominent to the series. Jewel, a character who didn't appear in the original series, will be in this series too, and she will be in the same boat as Two-Tone and Patch. Spot will still be in the series, but she'll be demoted to a background character who doesn't get as much screentime.
Now, about our villains. Cruella De Vil and Scorch will be the only recurring villains from the original series on this series. There will be no more Swamp Rat, Cydne, Steven, or any of the other members of the De Vil family (like Ivy). Cruella will also have a larger number of pets. Scorch, who was a major character in the original series, will be reprising his role as Cruella's pet ferret. Vandella, a character who only appeared in two episodes of the original series, will be returning only this time as a major character. Also added to Cruella's pets will be their leader, Cruelyn. (I don't think I'll include the Rowdyruff Dogs since they're ripping off characters from PPG's.) Other than the De Vil family, also in the lineup of villains will be Tic-Tac, a Dalmatian pup destined to kill Lucky. The evil female Dalmatian pup team known as the Heartbreakers will also be on the prowl. Mooch will also have a new team of bullies; joining him will be Jerko, Nemo and Ivan. Wizzer and Dipstick will also be in this series, but they are no longer bullies.
As for other characters, well, I'm kind of setting this show up kind of like "Hamtaro". In that show, there were like 15 different hamster characters, but there were 4 main hamsters while the rest sort of guest starred on all the other episodes; some appeared in some episodes, some didn't in others. This will be the case for our fancharacters, some will be involved in some episodes while others will be in others. Also, to determine which fancharacters (who are Dalmatians) will be used in the series, I am mainly planning to only involve the Dalmatian pups who are part of the original 99. Other pups will likely not be involved unless that pup has a certain connection with another pup in the original 99. (e.g. Noggin, Nemo, Kit, Rosalina, etc.)
Also, if you guys are curious, some of the fanfics I have written were intended for me to try to make part of this series:
"Pup and Down"
"Battle of the Barks"
"Prank It Up"
So, that's my idea. Pretty cool, eh? Let me know if you have any questions, and I'll be sure to answer them.
