A rather round form bounced about the grass, slightly large paws making hardly any noise as she continued to bound down the side of a grassy hill. She was humming a random tune, based on how hard or soft she landed after a jump, or how long she ran before her feet left the earth. Stopping after a moment, she glanced over at the large watering hole that she was able to see from her point of view. The ‘Hiccup Hole’ she heard a few refer to it as. What a ridiculous name…
Aria gave a sigh, tired of her little bouncing-fun, glancing around at the empty space around her as she finally began to walk down near the barn. It was a ways off; she’d have to go through the fields before getting there. It wasn’t as if she minded, the time alone was nice and the weather wasn’t too hot or too chilly so she honestly had no problem with walking that long way. Again, she would be humming softly to herself, wondering if she’d see any of the puppies on the way.
No, they usually all stayed by the farm, and rarely ventured out this far. There would be a ton of them within the red structure, she was sure. They were all so darn glued to that Television… it was no surprise fights tended to break out over the remote. Personally, Aria never saw the huge deal about the T.V. She was much more attached to the community radio, and one of the pigs was using it at the moment. Ugh. Perking her ears, she listened for any sign of life around, still seeing no one.
It wasn’t that she’d terribly hate to have anyone approach her; she just didn’t want to be caught off guard. Bad things happened to those who surprised her, and the puppy didn’t like to feel responsible for a particularly nasty bite. Her paws left a slight indent in the moist ground as she continued on, closing her mismatched eyes and giving a gentle sigh.
Maybe she’d be able to actually talk to a pup today, instead of sitting in the corner and watching them. Oh, she wasn’t ignored or neglected, but… there were days she simply didn’t want to bundle up enough will to try and be a part of whatever it was they were doing. Her tail held high, black nose pad twitching, she continued to walk onwards with her eyes closed, finally beginning to relax as she felt she were alone. Figuratively as well as physically.
[Here's a post to give ya'll an idea of the surroundings. :3 I'd prefer story-format roleplaying. Please and Thank you. ^^]

It was a gorgeous day. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, and the air was fresh with the lovely scents of spring. And most each and every pup on the farm was huddled inside the barn, surrounding a glowing box spewing multimedia. Thunder bolt the movie or something. Tac gave a snort. No, he was not a fan of Thunderbolt...or T.V...or the Barn....or the puppies in general. In fact, aside from Dipstick, Rose was the only other dog he even truly liked, and the two of them were with everyone else, watching that idiot box. Which, in the long run, suited Tic-Tac just fine.
Today, the little puppy had decided to travel to Hiccup Hole, testing his brand new experiments on the puppy's swimming hole. To his left, were a plethora of different vials, all shapes and sizes, and each one filled with a sickly colored type liquid. To his right, was a small clip board.
The puppy gave a quiet growl and reached down for one of his vials, one housing a dirty colored red liquid- and he poured it into the water of the pond. The water where he poured the contents of the vial began to bubble gently, and soon, began spewing several bubbles into the air. Tac narrowed his eyes a moment and gave a sharp hiss, before picking up the clip board next to him.
"Experiment 200769. Failure. Concoction did not meet required needs and results are...curious." The pup gave a sigh, and reached down to pick up a second vial, only to freeze with it in his paws. He looked up, and frowned at the sight of a second puppy within view of the pond. A female...what was her name...she was from the barn...

"Hey Kratos, check it out, a new chica on the farm" a Mexican accent was heard. "Chica?" Kratos asked, though, he wasn't the slightest interested at all. "Yeah you know, a chick, a female, a girl, you know, chica" though, Rico looked over to Kratos to see him not paying attention "Ah, what do you know anyway? Kratos only gave a quick smirk to himself, not worrying at all what Rico had even said, as to him, it didn't insult him or anything. "Why don't you go speak to her then if you're so worried, hmm?" Rico paused for a second, considering it "Nah, there's no point really, besides, I'm a Chihuahua and she's a Dal, it wont work out anyway" Kratos only gave a sigh to himself.

A lonely pup sat by himself in the dense woods happy to be away from anything breathing. He particularly didnt like company, didnt want anything to do with the others as to him he thought they were all a waste of breath. He looked up seeing the sunlight rays shine through the tall trees making there way down to the soft earth. He lifted a paw, seeing the imprint left behind and stood up. The ground he was sitting on was fairly wet and damp. Reason being, Hiccup Hole was near and the water was slithering off its coast and trailing down a bit into the wooded area he now occupied. For once, he thought of enjoyment, something rare and uncommon of himself to proceed doing. But he was alone, or so he thought. His furry ears slowly perked upward. He turned his head in a 180 degree angle from left to right. He couldve sworn he heard something. Finally ignoring it, he steadly walked over near Hiccup Hole but stopped and kept out of sight once he spotted who he thought he had heard. It was Tic Tac. A neutral being to him. Rocky neither hated him, nor liked him. He did of course think he was crazy but respected his intellegence. He'd seen Tac pull of numerous task against Lucky. All failed due to a few reasons. Those reasons being, Lucky was lucky. And, Lucky had friends to fall back on. Rocky shook his head barely and sunk back in the woods hoping Tac would leave or he'd have to travel back to the farm to wash himself of the dirty mud that caked up on his bottom and tail.
He let out a breath of air and began to walk off again. Then something else caught his attention. He sniffed the air. An intruder! No. He sniffed again. Still the same unfamiliar scent. Halfway curious, he unwantingly followed the scent but stayed out of sight as much as he could. Plowing through thick leaves, branches, stems, and whatever else got in the way the now saw the unknown figure. Immediate anger rushed over his body. Just what he needed! More annoying lost puppies. He growled loudly not caring anymore if the pup saw or not. He was furious! Rocky bared his teeth and clawed the ground.

Aria was hardly lost. In fact, she’d bet the use of her favorite radio that she knew her way around the outskirts of the farm better than any of the puppies that had been there even longer than she had. Her eyes still closed, the random humming had taken on a specific tune, but it was still that. Just humming. Though her paws were shifting beneath her oddly, side stepping some, before stepping forward, then side stepping in the opposite direction. A half dance, half walk. Her humming was steadily getting louder.
She didn’t really choose what song popped into her head, really. It depended on her mood. And at the moment, she was feeling pretty darn good. Warm sun, no one around to bother her, or make her feel insecure… Yep. All was well. Her tail was even playing the part of a metronome, ticking back and forth as she continued on her way. There was the faint scent of other canines, but then again it was a farm filled with puppies.
It was bound to carry someone's scent.
There was a pause before she suddenly leapt forward, unprovoked and standing in a wide stance parting her lips to belt out a few words. “Yeah-ee-yah! And it’s all right, and it’s comin’ on! We gotta get it right back…to…where…we…” Darn. Her eyes had opened just as she was singing out the seemingly random tune, to lock her eyes onto Tic-Tac’s face. Cripes. “…started from.”
Stopping suddenly, she locked her legs together while still standing, before beginning to walk normally with her tail flat out behind her. Not really acknowledging him besides the fact that she had looked over him just a moment ago. ‘Just pretend it didn’t happen’. Oh, how she wished that could be the worst of her troubles. Instead, she was just about to make a turn, when there was a sudden growling noise off to the side.
Now, Aria was no push over, despite what her smaller and plumper stature might lead others to believe. The fur along her spine rose almost instantly, and she turned to show her teeth in their full glory; sharp, gleaming milk teeth. Sharper than a needle, as any puppy had, really. Mismatched eyes narrowed and she crouched down as well, glaring at Rocky furiously. Ugh. Like she needed this right now. Her heart pounded heavily, and she continued to growl at him ferociously; never mind the fact that he was larger than she.
”What’s your malfunction!?” She snarled, her paws digging into the ground as her legs were ready to spring. To attack, or out of the way; it would depend on his movements.
[Sorry for the length, boys. Got carried away again. ^^;]

Tac gives a deep sigh, not startled in the least when Aria suddenly hops out infront of him. Of course, not much startles the heartless pup anyway. He glares at the other chubby canine until she decides to leave and he gives a sharp sigh. "Oh, how I DESPISE this place. Fill with spotted pieces of rancid garbage, mindlessly yipping about, impeding my scientific progress....Oh...it is certainly time to create another plan in which I eliminate all those idiots romping around on this dreaded crop of land. "He growls quietly to himself, reaching for another vial. Of course, that's what he were already up to.
His ears perk when he ears the growls. Now a fight...that might be interesting...in fact, that might be a lovely sort of way to witness some blood shed and hopefully something brutal to go along with it. The pup glares down at his experiments for a moment and decides they can wait, and he stands up. After a quick shake off, he pads over to where Aria headed, and grins once he spots Rocky.
"Oh dear...it looks like one of you will leave with bite marks. A terrible shame that...Do liven up my afternoon, would you?"

Another rare moment.
Rocky rarely encountered another pup willing to take him on directly, especially being a female. They would most likely run off in fear or try to reason with him. Though no one knew, or ever would find out, Rocky was more sensitive toward females. It didnt matter who, what kind or whatever. He thought it weak to fight a female and win. But he wasnt fighting to win or lose but to show his own status. Dont mess with me. He looked her right in the eyes not nearly afraid as one might think. His thick neck hair already riled up. His green gleaming eyes beaded with her mix colored eyes. He did not move but kept his place but if she provoked him any further...
Both paws now firmly gripped into the soft soil, tail arched over and sharp rows of needles in this mouth made him formidable. But what would he really do if she came closer? Would he suddenly attack? Would he do nothing? Or would he feel different towards her? He find out sooner or later. The more he studied her, the more he felt like this was a waste of time. She was already smaller than himself. She was a bit on the pudgy side. Probably slow because of it. Though he never underestimated someone. He'd learned that from his experience with Cadpig.

Didn’t care if that odd puppy by the lake hated her guts, just for being a puppy. Like she wanted to crawl with her belly on the ground and beg for his companionship? HA! She was like him, glad to ignore that the other existed, really. The glare had made her alert, however. She wasn’t going to be taken down by surprise. Not by him, not by anyone. Perhaps it was that sense of awareness that had kept her on edge enough to react to Rocky’s presence so quickly. So there she was, facing a pup certainly larger than herself; and most likely more experienced when it came to scuffles.
She could bite and kick, scratch and tear… but she was out of practice, for none of the pups really challenged her. All of her hackles were raised as she continued to growl at Rocky, non-stop and clearly on the defensive. Though, in an attempt to let him know that he couldn’t bully her, her tail curled forward slightly in an assertive manner. When he didn’t answer, her, she only narrowed her eyes and waited. It seemed they both wanted the other to move first, and she wasn’t going to give him the satisfaction.
”Jus’ back off bub, before I neuter you th’hard way.” She said easily, though her voice was slightly muffled as she spoke through her teeth, and with a growl rumbling in the background. She was decently fast for her size, but then again, he had the advantage, and she could feel it. No, no fighting for fun today; she’d just defend herself.

Kratos' glance caught Rocky, but he didn't think of him as a challenge at all, considering the fact that to him, no one was really a challenge. Though, he wasn't the one that was looking for trouble or anything. Though, Rico, he wasn't the one to fight at all, but more or less espionage(sp?) really, though, he would fight if he really wanted to.

She had to be out of her mind. No. She just didnt know who he was. No. She actually was standing up for herself. Yes. For a brief moment Rocky took his eyes off of this female infront of him and glared at Tic Tac. He then switched back now concentrating on her again. He eased up, not because he was intimidated but because she had done something no other pup had done when encountering him. He stopped growling and baring his teeth. He now stood up tall on all fours. His face remained neutral and his neck hair returned to normal. He looked at her once more and grunted. He now respected her. But as for the other cowards, he felt no pity for them and cursed them daily, hoping for there immediate dimise somehow or another. For the first time since he left his old home, he walked casually over to her and extended a paw and spoke.
"My name is Rocky." He said in an almost faint, low voice. He'd never spoken before and his voice box was rusty. Most thought he was a mute with a bad attitude. Turns out, no one actually pasted his "test" to determind if they are worth the time to get to know him after gaining respect from him. This females spunky attitude awarded her unknown secrecies regarding Rocky.

She was getting antsy. It was fight or flight, and she wasn’t the type to run away from any sort of confrontation. That was going to get her killed one day, she was sure of it. But in her mind, it was better to face things head on, then run only to have them come back to haunt you. When Rocky glanced away, over at Tic-Tac, her eyes followed and she growled even louder. Great. Was she going to have to deal with two of them, now? No, the other was just watching to see what would happen.
What a sadistic Ankle-biter. Ugh.
Her attention was soon drawn back onto Rocky. She shouldn’t have looked away, that was a stupid move, and she was just lucky it hadn’t backfired on her. When he began to stand, she only flattened herself on the ground even more, her growls becoming more urgent. Panicked even. Darn, she hadn’t though he was that much larger than she was! When he didn’t seem to be making any threatening gestures, she eyed him more, slowly straightening up. Her lip was still curled slightly, that single trademark tooth sliding over her lower lip. “…yeah? Who asked?”
But, deciding it was probably best not to tick him off; she slid her paw into his offered one. Her form was tensed, fur sticking up to try and make herself seem larger. All it succeeded in was making her seem fluffier and even softer looking. Her paw in his, she gave it a firm squeeze, strength one might not expect from a pup her size. “Aria. You gonna tell me why we almost got into it, Rockhead?”
She internally winced. Darn it, why couldn’t she just be sweet and polite like the other puppies? No. She had to let her sarcasm and teasing nature get the best of her, and make fun of his name. Maybe it was her fault that she was so alone on this farm.

Aria's grip was tight, too tight even for a pup her size. Still, it did nothing more but raise her standards about what he thought of her.
"I was simply testing you, Aria. You passed. You are the first." Rocky kept his "poker face" on, not showing any signs of weakness.
"If I may, I apologize for the hostility. Welcome to hell." By hell, he clearly meant the farm. As he still hated it with a passion.
"I shall remain in contact with you thoughout your visit here. If you should decide to say, be careful of that one." Rocky then eyed toward Tic Tac.
"But personally, I enjoy his style of dispatching, when he should suceed." Rocky then stood up and turned to leave. Before entering the bushes, he stopped momentarily and looked back at Aria. He gave the most slightly hint of a smirk. Only detectable by those of the same distance away as Aria was then he wandered off.

Found herself staring at Rocky with a slightly furrowed brow. He talked funny. Or, perhaps it was she that talked funny, almost with a street accent, though not quite. No, the best way to describe her vocalization was that she was too lazy to put too much effort into speaking, and thus didn’t pronounce words wholly. Either way, his speech was almost…proper. Not in their tone, but in the way he worded things specifically while speaking.
Pulling her paw back, she sat down with an almost inaudible ‘whump’ of her rump, tail lying flat on the ground. She didn’t really have any negative and certainly not any positive feelings towards this male puppy. At least she hadn’t been mauled, that was always a plus. “Uh, woo for me, then?” One eye was still narrowed in suspicion as she tilted her head up faintly to look up at Rocky’s stoic expression. “Yeah, yeah. ‘pology accepted.” She brushed it off; the incident, not his words.
Then he continued to speak, and she could only sit there in mild shock, blinking rapidly as Rocky turned to leave. Did that mean their friends? ’Nooo. That means he’s a stalker.’ she thought to herself, glancing up and noticing the almost-expression on his maw. Huh. Still, the line of remaining in contact with her was…rather unsettling. ’Staaaaalk-eeeeeer’ her mind chimed up in a sing-song way. Leaning her head down and scratching at her ear, she gave a slight hum. “Well. Haven’t I had n’ excitin’ day?” She murmured out loud, eyes glancing over at Tic-Tac, and just watching him for a bit.
Simply sitting there, she decided to mull things over, rather than continue on her way to the Barn. Frankly, the puppy was confused over what had just occurred.

Tic-Tac isn't one to introduce himself...normally. But this was intriguing. First of all he finds out that Rocky- silent, agnsty, live journal writing, emo, wrist cutting, pup can TALK and that he backs down to a girl! Scientific progress aside, it was always interesting to know of a weakness in an enemy. And this new pup Aria....he certainly wanted to know about her. She stood her ground against Rocky? Now that was curious all in itself.
Tac padded from his spot over towards the chubby canine girl and looked her over slowly- as if he were inspecting a piece of meat or something that wasn't alive. "Curious....indeed...who are you? I don't think we're met. Lets see...Aria....yes...puppy...from the ...music store......Roger....you showed up after Rodger broke his piano..."Tac said quietly, speaking as if he were reading from a script of some sort. More then likely photographic memory, or something. Either he was reading her mind, or he had heard things from the grape vine. Probably logic and deductive reasoning. Just because he didn't hang out in the barn didn't mean he didn't hear gossip and rumors.
"So you and Rocky have something there? He never talks to anyone...and suddenly you show up and he opens his mouth to tumble out a few words...curious indeed. "Tac hisses quietly. "Welcome to dearly farm...despite what Rocky may have said...I think you should leave...You're not fit for a place like this. "He spits venomously.

Still thoroughly creeped out by Rocky, she had tilted her head the other way to scratch her ear with her foot, before standing. Giving a shake of her body, the puppy’s fur finally began to lie flat once more, and just as she was contemplating heading back to the barn, her train of thought was derailed. Another one? Oh. That sadistic little ankle-biter. The one she had just been looking at. Oh, joy.
Eyeing him just as suspiciously as she had Rocky, she didn’t like the way he was looking at her. Like she wasn’t worth his time? Fine. Two could play it that way. Wrinkling her little nose pad as he spoke, eyes narrowing even more until they were mismatched slits of distrust. How did he know all of that about her?! Well, he was another puppy, and the day she had arrived, Roger was explaining what had happened to his wife. That spread through the pups like wildfire, and she didn’t even have to say a word about where she had come from to be bombarded with questions.
Questions she either didn’t answer at all, or gave to the point responses.
Her attention had begun to dwindle, actually… he talked an awful lot, just as much as that Rocky character. Only when he mentioned the pup from before, did she suddenly snap to attention and frown. “Waitwhat? ‘Have somthin’?” She arched her little puppy brow, “What’re you gettin’ at, Egghead? I jus’ met the guy a second ago…” Huffing under her breath, there was a momentary pause and she let a little warning growl rise from her throat.
“You sayin’ I ain’t good enough for this cruddy farm, or somthin'?"
