In the new book "Lullaby" by Amanda Hocking, two women could be seen talking in a library. One woman, Marcy was saying to her friend Harper who was starting to tune back into her conversation about fur coats made out of basset hounds and that she wasn't like Cruella De Vil.
An excerpt of the line was:
"But I was like, you can't make a fur coat out of basses hounds," Marcy was saying when Harper started tuning back in. "It's not like I'm Cruella De Vil, you know."
How's that for a 101 D homage?

Recently, Disney have released a Video, in Co-Operations with Barney's New York, called 'Electric Holiday'. It's mainly on Minnie putting on a Fashion Show and one of her Models...Cruella Devil! =3 Patch also makes a brief cameo in the credits too. ;3 Here is the clip. www.youtube.com/watch?v=gd4GANMLessWhat you think, Pups? =3

Oooh. Here is a song that's an entire homage! The Children 18:3 song "The Cruel One" is basically about "101 Dalmatians" and actually do refer to "Cruella Devil" & "Sergeant Tibbs" by name! =3 Here it is. www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_aORJMJuNcAny other Homages, Pups? =3

Was going through old NASCAR stuff and incredibly found one of these... In 1997 and 1998 the first NASCAR race of the new year was a mid-January race at Walt Disney World Speedway, a permanent facility built in the parking lot of the Transporation and Ticket Center. The races were televised by ESPN, who is owned by Disney, and as such the announcers in the pre-race portion of broadcast were more than willing to drop a Disney reference or two... In the opening minutes of the broadcast ESPN pit reporter Bill Weber was talking about the drivers starting up front including polesitter Chuck Bown in the #99 Ford. Weber shifted his conversation to numbers, pointing out the #99 truck's owner had five teams in one NASCAR series and three more in that Truck race, ending with the line... "Here at Disney World 36 trucks are ready to roll and that has racing fans, and 101 Dalmatians, pretty excited."Can be heard here at 3:10: www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXtdj1pMBGQ(the words after the title drop are a bit drowned out by a race announcer) That may have been an enforced plug, ESPN was owned by Disney and the 101 animated series was still airing at the time of that race.

I know there was this show called “Wedding House”, which is a place where you can put on some themed weddings. In the first episode, said Theme was “Dalmatians” and when the couple getting married came in, the staff member helping them came in dressed as Cruella.
Know any more Homages, Pups? =3

I woke up and turned the Television on this morning and “Catchphrase” was on the Television. A Show where you guess a saying based on an image given.
One of said questions is of the number “101” with Dalmatian Spots all about it. And yeah, The Answer is “101 Dalmatians”! =3
I was pleased to see that Homage, eh?

Not sure if that’s genuine or sarcastic…
Although, Another Homage, I saw a couple of days ago…
Sky Movies (Television Provider) recently aired an Advert for their new Disney Movies Channel. It’s of Tinkerbell flying through London, making things all Disney (like putting the Aladdin Lamp in an Antiques Store or turning a Taxi Cab into a Cinderella Coach). However, amongst one of Tinkerbell’s Tricks was a couple walking some Labradors, which then suddenly turn into A Bunch of Dalmatians! =3
I was concerned like “What does the Labrador think of this?”, but their homage to “101 Dalmatians” did make me smile.
Any others see that advert?

Bishop showed me an image of the new Pokemon game...and apparently, they actually make a "101 Dalmatians" reference. An NPC tells the players that each morning, they kiss each of their "101 Furfrou". Furfrou being a white, Canine like Pokemon. Here is the image. i.imgur.com/WJmedyy.jpgSo we now know what the Pokeverse Equivilant of a Dalmatian is now, don't we? o.o

I saw 'Saving Mr. Banks' at the Cinema Yesterday (FOR ONCE, THE UK GETS A FILM BEFORE AMERICA!).
Although, I did spot two moments of "101 Dalmatians" in it. One is if you look on one of Walts Desks in his Office, there's a Cruella Statue on his desk. And Second; as they sing "Let's Go Fly A Kite", you can see a "101 Dalmatians" Poster on the Wall.
Although, I did notice that there is a Winnie The Pooh toy in the film, considering the film takes place in 1961 and 'Honey Tree' didn't come out until 1965, what's Pooh doing there?

Wait. You saw Saving Mr. Banks? That movie hasn't even been released yet! At least not in my country. Did you go to like a special screening of it before it's official release?

Belchic Bab did say it was finally released in the UK, so I would say he saw it on the big screen. It was released Nov. 29 over there while we'll be getting it this month on the 13th
