It is morning, late summer. A time of the year when it is still warm, but the sun less strong and being outside is not quite an oven. Wind has also began to form in small cool breezes over the uneven farmlands.
The Belgian male pup, Jérémie could be found carefully inspecting the flower beds by the house where the human pets live. A look of concentration was cemented on his face baring the rather unusual spot pattern of a splash of black covering his right eye, a downwards-pointing triangle under the left.
A female pup, who had just woken up approaches the male. Her name is Alise and she is Jérémie's sister. Both of them wear orange collars. Alise has black ears like her brother, but she has an additional white spot shaped like a sun on her left ear. Wheras Jérémie is strong in build akin his fellow dedicated bark brigade members, Alise is slender and petite in shape.
At this very moment Alise needs to cover her mouth with her left paw, the paw that is black, to conceal a giggle. The sight of her brother so caught up in caring for these flowers, watering, trimming, removing weed, snails or larvas is simply too amusing for her.
"What? Is this the first time you have seen a boy take care of his flowers?" Jérémie tries to fend, seeing his sister's smile.
"No, by all means go on!" Alise giggles "But arn't you supposed to be my tough brother? The one who always runs, swims and lifts heavy stuff? And besides, these flowers are not 'yours' - they belong to Roger and Anita!"
"What if I simply like taking care of them?" Jérémie defended having to smile as well "I'm sure Roger and Anita won't mind me helping the Nanny, even though I'm sure she might be a little more efficient than me. Just let me finish this last tulip and we'll go get some breakfast, ok?"
Their conversation went on like this. Elsewhere, by the boarders of the Dealy farm property, Marcel made his entrance. He hadn't been by the farm in three days, but decided it was about time he paid it a little visit. The thin mackarel tabby cat was excited about the food he might eat there, if any new female cats had started to trail around the farm, but most of all he enjoyed the farm for its lack of big city smell, it's trees and it's peace. The farm hosted an entire horde of puppies each who lived their life on the farm differently. Some favoured adventures, others completely different things. It was like a hundred little worlds in one.

A little alphabet-spotted pup approached the pair. "What are you doing?" she asked. The pup held a book in her paws along with her reading glasses.
Elsewhere, Paisly spotted the cat comming over to the farm. Curious, the mutt decided to go and take a closer look.

Close to a small Tree, close to the Dearly Farm Barn, a quite larger Spaniel had just lite a smaller Candle, using a Match concieled in his Fur and he smirked to this. This Spaniel was, Olwe's Brother, Alvin, a Well Meaning, yet Power Hungry being. He then waited patiently for his Love, a Tri-Force Ear Ring Dalmatian, known as Elaine to arrive.
Little to his knowledge, a small Greyhound, the size of Cadpig (Maybe less) began carefully stepping about in the Flower Bed, close to where Alise & Jeremie were. He dug some small holes, trying to see if he can find any of that "Plant Growth" Powder, the Dearly Humans talked about, in order to get Bigger than his Sister, Tippy.

By a large haystack out near the barn, there were a few other pups relaxing. All were male; one wore a green collar and had three rings on each ear, the largest on the outside and smaller on the inside, and some random spots on his body. The other wore a navy blue collar with a shiny gold tag around it, black ears, a large spot on top of his left eye, and black front paws, as well as a regular spot pattern. Finally, the third was shorter than the two Dalmatians and was a parti-colored Pomeranian- half black, half white. He also wore a gray collar around his neck.
The three dogs were Ringo, Cam, and Oliver. Oliver was a new arrival of sorts, and had to be shown around. Cam and Ringo had taken up the job.
"Aye, this is th' bahn. I's where we all ge' togetha an' mingle an' such." Ringo explained, waving a paw in it's direction. Cam nodded along.
Unbeknownst to every pup in the group, though, another face was watching. This face happened to be another tabby cat. However, this tabby was dark brown with a scar on the bridge of his nose. He also wore a pair of sunglasses around his neck held by a rubber cord, and on his back was a large marking that resembled a camera. He was known as Snapshot, an evil tabby by all means.

Near the Dearly house, a pup that beared quite a resemblance to Cadpig was standing. However, he had green eyes and wore a light brown collar. And his left ear was completely black and his right ear was white. His hair stuck up quite a bit on his head, and on his forehead was a spot pattern that resembled an upside down paw.
This dalmatian's name was Stotch. Not new, but he was mostly unknown by a majority of the other puppies. He saw the group of puppies near the barn, but was too nervous to approach them.
Meanwhile another female was approaching the flower bed from the Dearly's driveway. Her eyes were blue and she wore a gold collar, with real sapphires patterned around it, and a silver name tag. Her spot pattern is pretty much random, except her entire back right leg was black, along with her left ear. And her right ear had only one spot. Plus she had spots that resembled freckles on his face.
This female was Elodie. She skipped along and approached the twin dalmatians and Alfie. Her tail wagging "hello, everyone" she smiled.

(Oi, no Spotty... D: Well, here goes my post then) From on the roof of the barn, an average-sized dalmatian pup stood up straight and tall as he surveyed the sky around himself. The pup bore no particularly special spot pattern on his coat, being dabbled in a couple of black spots down his body as well as a little black dip at the end of his tail. What most uniquely made this puppy stand out was the large flying cap - probably suited more for a young human child - covering the entirety of his face. The goggles over his eyes made them magnified, making the eyes themselves look more than twice their actual size. The puppy went by the name he was originally bestowed at birth - Arne - although around the farm and other puppies, the few who did know or talk about him usually referred to him as "Bird Brain" for his flying antics that were dubbed silly by them. He wasn't particularly popular around the farm because of his inane desires to fly that made him seem like a weirdo amongst others, as well as his tendency to go off on his own and practice flying on his own, with his only real friend being in Spot the chicken (who was usually hanging out with her own posse to hang out with him on a daily basis). On this particular day, the pup with the flying cap had managed to climb to the roof of the barn as he readied himself to take off to fly. As Arne observed the air around him, he noticed there were small breezes - not ferociously windy, but there was probably enough of a breeze to carry him off somewhere. Arne spread out his legs, getting into the stance he usually took before taking off to "fly". As he did so, he closed his huge, magnified eyes and deeply inhaled the air around himself. "Captain... the light breezes of which we are presented today by what the weather has decided to kindly grant us," he spoke to himself, his sentences organised as they usually were in a structure that made his speech silly in itself, "They too, grant my wings the splendid ability to henceforth take to the beautiful skies of this fine barn of which I can call my- "He then shook his head, noticing he was rambling on too much... as he often did. He had to keep himself focused on his important matters. "Right, then..." he finally continued, bending down on his legs as he prepared to leap, "Initiating launch sequence..." He then sprung up into the air, his eyes still closed as he pushed himself into the sky, "And into the skies, I fly! Like the birds and the eagles of the great expansion before me, I, Arne, the bravest of the brave and the -" Interrupted in mid-speech, Arne failed to notice that his body had not flown, but rather dropped down into the large haystack in front of the barn's entrance. Arne popped his head - still with the large flying cap over his face - out of the haystack and surveyed around himself. A couple of pups were near the barn, but that didn't seem to interest him at the moment. "Mission, hereby a success!" He then turned his head and looked up, noticing he was not too far from the barn, "Oh, balderdash... with the breezes in the air today, I must have surely had to have made it so much further in my flight than I originally have..." (Ffff, didn't mean to make it that long )

"Good morning!" a smiling Alise greeted Alfie and the approaching Elodie. She wasn't that used to being spoken to and wanted to make the best of it. She was about to suggest that the two females tagged along with them the short way to the chow tower, but was suddenly interrupted by Jérémie's alarmed voice:
"I don't believe it!" the Belgian male called out. "Over there! that pup is digging in the flower bed!"
In a split second, Jérémie had gotten up on his paws and was on his way over to the tiny greyhound known as Goliath. "OI! What do you think you're doing?! Get out of there! If you have damaged as much as one root!"
Fearing her brother might loose his temper, Alise stepped up by his side. She looked down on the greyhound who'm she suspected was terrified from Jérémie's behaviour and calmly spoke: "We really wish you had chosen another place to do your digging.."
The Belgian female sounded almost disappointed. She let out a sigh and walked back to Elodie and Alfie, with Jérémie tagging along leaving Goliath at the sight. "We're sorry... those flowers just mean alot to us." She said. Jérémie simply stood there staring at nothing in particular with a serious, infuriated look.
Deep down, Alise felt that maybe she should appologize to the greyhound as well. He couldn't possibly know and his digging didn't look too severe. Still, she could understand her brother's reaction. It was an inconsiderate thing to do, if not to them, then to their pets, The Nanny, Roger & Anita. Maybe they'd appollogize later. But not now.
Within the barn, Arne's flying attempt hadn't gone unnoticed. Flux got up from his own haystack, indifferently commenting: "Any progress today, Bird brain? just keep trying, you'll get it right someday.."
Just as much as Flux wanted to lecture Arne that if a dog wanted to fly there had to be a much more logical method, he really wanted to just use his name 'Arne.' Flux had an unexplained passion for other cultures and languages and could hardly contain himself and his questioning around people who hailed from elsewhere than himself. The name Arne rang central to northern European in his ears and if it hadn't been for the fact that everyone just seemed to accept that Arne was Bird-Brain and a loner, then Flux would be all over him with questions.
(ffff... I write long as well D:)

Soon another pup approached Alvin. She had spots in the shape of triangles all around her body except her ears. On her right ear, she wore an earring which resembled the Triforce from The Legend of Zelda. Her name was Elaine. "Heyyyy Alvin, how's my sweet lover doing?" she giggled
Meanwhile, somewhere else on the farm lied another puppy. This certain puppy had horseshoe spots on his back like Lucky, an eye patch on his right eye like Patch, freckles on his cheeks like Freckles, one black and one white spotted ear like Two-Tone, necklace spots like Jewel, and a black tail like Dipstick. He is also has some random spots and he is chubby like Rolly. He also has floppy ears like Cadpig. His collar is red. He was also Rosalina's younger brother, his name was Joaquin. "Hmmmmmm....what to do today...I'm so bored..." Joaquin grumbled

Alfie seemed a bit taken aback by the Belgin dog's actions. "It's fine." she replied. The pup had half a mind to open her book and start reading. Fixing her glasses, the pup looked down at the book. The Tale of Desperaux it said on the cover.

Arne shook the hay from off of his flying cap and looked over to the hay bale next to himself where another pup seemed to be addressing him. Well... there was a first time for everything. Even though "Bird Brain" wasn't his name, it was a nickname that was so often used in addressing him that it had just stuck, and he found himself responding to anyone of whom he heard it coming from.
"As it is unfortunate as well as deeply disappointing, the momentum of the careless winds at this very moment do not appear to be acting in my favour," Arne replied to Flux in his usual complicated way of speaking, "But I do indeed, thank you for your enquiry, fellow dalmatian brother." After speaking, Arne almost expected the other pup to leave as most did after asking a similar question to his, but with his last attempt at flying a failure, Arne didn't really have anything else to do but shake his head again, ridding his cap of a couple other stray pieces of hay that were a bit stubborn about coming out.

(OOC: Deleted all my post order notifications to make the thread seem a little neater) "Yeah, right back at ya!" Flux said shortly who was able to follow close to nothing of what the flying cap-wearing pup had just said. Flux narrowed his eyes while observing Arne who had allready resumed fixing his headgear, plucking the straws that had gotten stuck in it away. The slightly taller male stroked the orange feather that was attached to his black collar. Arne was such an outsider, Flux thought, and seeing him almost confining himself to the role, accepting himself as such made Flux feel slightly sorry for him. He was about to leave when that feeling made him turn around and say: "Hey, Bird Brain, you know.." But that was all that came out. Flux held back his tongue. What was he going to say, anyway? He had no idea. After a very brief awkward pause he finshed with: ".. bu uhh-reakfast will be served soon at the tower!" The taller male got on to his paws quickly and paced away from the barn. Over by the flower bed, Alise and Jérémie could still taste the shame of their outrage, scolding the tiny greyhound for messing up the flowers. The siblings exchanged looks, one automatically knowing how the other felt. The two had enough trouble hitting it off with people on the farm as it was, hoping this wouldn't make things worse. (OOC: o___o;; W-well, this place is dead, but it looks like it's still my turn (?) so might as well try to revive it.
