Does anyone remember the special Dalmatian toys that were made to promote the live action movie? I never had any of them, but I do remember the commercials. There were four of them, and they each features the same song. Here was each puppy toy:
Wettin' Wizzer was a pup who you would dunk his nose into a water dish, and then, he'd magically wet the newspaper that was attached to it.
Tail-Waggin' Dipstick was basically a pup who would wag his tail when you pulled a string on his collar.
Puppy Sounds Jewel was basically a pup who made puppy sounds whenever you pet her.
Tug-O-War Fidget had a blanket in his mouth, and he'd violently shake his head whenever you tugged on it.
You would think that they'd also make a Lucky and Two-Tone toy seeing that they were in the 1996 movie as well. In fact, those six were the only puppies in the movie!

I remember the ad for Wizzer well, I knew Jewel and Dipstick where in that series too and forgot about poor Fidget
yeah they should have done a wave 2 with Lucky and Two-Tone in it along with re-releases of Patch and Rolly from the 1991 line redone to match the live action line

I remember those but never had (nor wanted really) any of them. I did have a couple of the McDonald's "Happy Meal" toys they gave out though, as a stunt they had "101 different toys" which actually meant like 10 but all recolored many times.

Oooh, I don't remeber those toys. o.o Of course, I was Three at the time, so I probably didn't notice. ^^;
Still, Those ones do sound like, pretty neat toys. o.o With actions which match their personality...although, How exactly did the Wizzer one work? Is it like those Potty Baby Dolls, they have today (seriously, why would Girls want a Doll which promotes Weeing).
Still, Trey says he may have something to do with this! =3
So, I look forward to seeing what he may have or if any other Pups remeber these things! *Hugs* X3

I remember the McDonald's toys your talking about, Race! I totally remember when I was little and I'd get McDonald's and it came with those toys- and we'd always get two or three of the same one because I have two other sisters <3 I loved those toys a lot.

You are correct, Race. There was a time when McDonald's had 101 different Dalmatian-related toys. It was for the holiday season of 96. I was wondering how they were able to make 101 different ones, but really, there were 10 each with 10 different color schemes, and if I remember correctly, the 101st one was like a really big ultimate one.
Of course, this isn't the only time McDonald's had Dalmatian toys. We all know about the 8 flip cars based on the series, which were out in January of 1998. Also, in 1991, when the animated movie made it's final theatrical release, they had some toys, but for this one, there were only four: Pongo, Lucky, Colonel/Sgt. Tibs, and Cruella De Vil.
I'll see if I can find the commercials for these toys and post them here.

I think McDonald's did the "100 toy" angle again with 102 toys when 102 Dalmatians came out. As with the first one they basically just made a handful of different ones and redid the colors again and again. I don't remember any of them being particually special though.

Considering that Two-Tone was in your collection. Then again, if you did, you probably would have had Lucky too. Anyway, I regret to say this, but I searched and couldn't find the 1996 commercials for those Dalmatian toys on YouTube.

actually no, got them by chance (especially with Two-tone, she was the first of the flipcars I got. I mistook her for Lucky since I saw her from above but didn't notice her earring till I got a better look at her and saw it and her cheek spot and blue collar)
