Are there any instances of totem poles or totem pole trenches or piggy back rides in the All dogs go to Heaven the Series?
I know one in one episode(Charlie The Human) Charlie does one with Itchy with Charlie on top
and one in the Christmas carol special with Itchy on top
but I would like to see one where Charlie(either on bottom or top) does a totem pole trench/shoulder ride with an equal size dog such as Sasha or Lance(Lance on top will be awesome)

Pretty evident it is you, Belchic. No, I don't know of any. Sorry. It isn't Belchic, Their IP Codes are completely different. So, I'll say it is another being, besides Belchic isn't the type who pretends to be a guest. o.o I have never seen ADGTH myself. o.o Maybe Belchic can help you on this matter? Can you, Belchic?

Bab is right. That wasn't me. I was in bed when those posts were made.
@bab: I've actually never seen the ADGTH series, so I can't really tell you. I've only seen the original movie, and I know for a fact there was a TPT in that one.
@guest: Are you a member of TV tropes? Why don't you get an account in here? I'd love to chat with you more about TPT's!

This guest now has an account on this site. He is not a troll. I had a chat with him this afternoon, and he seems like a nice guy.

I know this is off topic, but what is the name of this person, and why was he posting under the name 'guest'?

I have never once watched an episode of this show, did it take its cues from the sequel? Like Charlie and Itchy start going around doing heavenly deals and the like?

Yes actually, Trey that is pretty much the plot of the series. It picks up from ADGTH 2 and runs with them helping those in need, usually kids but sometimes other animals or even an adult, in modern day San Francisco. Typically they had a "miracle dog tag" to help them with a little magic on each mission. There were also episodes without missions that had Charlie and Itchy dealing with their own issues (Charlie focusing too much on a get rich quick scheme, Itchy working on his relationship with his new for the series girlfriend Bess).
The characters did lose some of their character development from ADGTH 2 but all the notable characters from the movie returned with all the celebrity VAs but Charlie Sheen returning (Sheen was replaced by Wings' Steven Webber as Charlie). Even Charles Nelson Reilly was back as Killer from the first ADGTH (without explanation) but Adam Wylie's David was reduced to only an occasional recurring character (who neither Charlie or Sasha still live with).
Overall it was a good series though and did bring some new things to the table, like Annabelle's new evil twin Belladonna. It ran for 40 episodes and ended with the All Dogs Christmas Carol movie. Two DVDs of the show are available.

I remember that Christmas Carol one. There were two dogs who always tried bursting into the closing song, but everyone tells them it wasn't that time yet. Killer was made a bit wussy in the Christmas one though and Charlie (I think that's the main dog) dressed up like what Jim Carrey wore in The Mask as the Spirit of Christmas Future. o.o
Also, The villains love to use Alcatraz Island alot though, first the Devil Cat uses it in ADGTH 2 and then Belladonna uses it in Christmas Carol.
Other than that, I've almost no experiance in ADGTH, I was only eight or ten when I saw the CHristmas Carol one and I saw a brief low quality clip of the second one on Youtube. ^^;
What else do you know about it, Pups? o.o

I noticed that pretty much the whole original cast is involved in the series with the exception of Burt Reynolds. Charlie's voice is obviously different. I find it interesting that Dom DeLuise and CNR came back considering that they're both dead now, while Reynolds is still living.

Seems like not many people here have seen this show. In case you'd like to here's the first few episodes of this show... The series opener (about the only time we see canine heaven, basically all the series' action took place on Earth)... www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Hfp551ZTFwThe second episode where Annabelle replaces Itchy on the mission... www.youtube.com/watch?v=nS5W-KC1C4cAnd the memorable "Lance the Wonder Pup" featuring the titular angelic canine (and a Burt Reynolds joke!)... www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Lf5rEBedhQAnd here's one of the later episodes once they slicked up the animation a bit and gave Annabelle a "Charlie's Angels" esque boss who they imply but don't confirm is God as a canine... www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyjnh6a9p4s"Also, The villains love to use Alcatraz Island alot though, first the Devil Cat uses it in ADGTH 2 and then Belladonna uses it in Christmas Carol." That's actually the only times it was used, Alcatraz never came up in the show but they did show a few other landmarks for scenery, cable cars were seen somewhat frequently while the Golden Gate Bridge appeared a lot in shots to set the scene but I don't think they ever went to it.
