This is a very important announcement, so everyone please read. Due to some recent events all of the admins have come to a decision.
We have decided to set a 3 strikes rule on this forum.
What does this mean? This means that if any members of this forum commit an offense (ex. drama, trolling, rule breaking, harassing, spamming, etc.) they will be given 1 strike. However, once a person gets 3 strikes, said member will be banned. As for how long it will not be permanent, but for a certain period of time. This rule will officially begin today, with all members having a clean slate. Strikes will be kept track of in a staff-only area.
Now before people start screaming at me, all of the admins have discusssed this proposal. Myself, Oddy, Clayton, and TwoTone all agree that a change needs to happen on here, so that is what we are doing now. With this rule now set in stone, I hope everyone decides to think and consider their future actions on this forum. So that we can go back to the significantly less drama filled forum Sparky's used to be.
Sincerely, Chels

This new rule now has me more scared than ever. But seeing that bab and TT were in on this, I'm sure it shouldn't be too bad. I hope I don't already have a strike or two.

You have nothing to worry about, the rule only started today so everyone is on a clean slate (aka, no strikes yet) so you're ok right now It was actually my idea to start this, but with a change like this, it's only fair to discuss with the other admins.

THIS. This so mny times.
This HAD to be done. Finally members will start showing SOME respect for others and their opinions. Finally there are strict rules on this board. Really, Nemo, you are genious. We needed this. I might actually show some more around here after hearing of this great news.
Also, may I ask, out of curiosity; What exactly do you consider harassment? It is because that rule tends to change from the person's point of view.

@shadow: I'm glad you support this, and I hope it works out to! @luisa: I agree this was definitely needed, if anything needed for a very long time. As for harassment, that is a very good question since so people define it differently. For me though, I personally consisder harassment to be: bullying, constantly pestering another person, trying to evoke negative reactions from the other person, trolling, insulting (usually repeated), flaming, bashing, adding "fuel" to the fire, trying to provoke drama, not leaving a person alone despite person saying multiple times to leave them be, etc... basically stuff along these lines. I may have forgotten some things, but I hope you get the general idea

^Would that qualify as harassing? Because he obviously directed it at me, since he thinks I am a troll and all. Really, even if he didn't say names, he made it quite obvious who it was directed at. Dude, just deal with me being on the board, can't you? I don't even talk pests about you with others, and if I've ever done so, it's nothing you don't know already :/ And if you are not replying to say "Okay, I'll leave you alone and stop pestering you", please refrain from making drama and don't reply. At all.
@nemes- Thanks for explaining C: I was a bit confused by that.
