I'm not entirely much of an illustrator, although, like Shadow, (who does very good poetry), I am quite a poet. (Although, most of my poems focus on darkness/death, literature, and films.) Here are 4 poems I made in the last week, that describe the well-known quartet in "101 Dalmatians: The Series". (If you wish for a more in-depth description of the four poems, you can see them at kovu96.deviantart.com, (my deviantart webpage). First up, who else but Lucky:
'Lucky' Cinquain
Lucky,
Brave, persistent,
Daring, improvising, assisting
Link of the Dalmatian pups.
Forrest Gump of Dearly Farm.
Next stop, Cadpig:
'Cadpig' Cinquain
Cadpig
Optimistic, Spiritual,
Guiding, Sensing, Helping
Guru of the Dalmatian pups
Psychologist of Dearly Farm.
3rd in line, Rolly:
'Rolly' Cinquain
Rolly,
Gluttonous, fat
Eating, sniffing, tracking
Glutton of the Dals
Bloodhound of Dearly Farm.
And, for the finale, please paws, and wings or feathers, together for...Spot:
'Spot' Cinquain
Spot
Wise, confused
Warning, howling, searching
A Dog among chickens
And a Hen among Dalmatians.
Reply, leave your opinion, and tell me what you think if you wish. I'm thinking about doing cinquains, (in the same pattern), on Lt. Pug, PH DeVil, and maybe either 2Tone, Tripod, or Mooch.

Not bad, Lupus! :3 I would also like to point out that Lupus is doing Method 1 in Writing Cinquains, and if you want to view Method 2, well look at my poetry gallery. But this isn't bad at all

Grazie, (Italian for Thank you), Gracias, or Thanks, Shadow. Although, this is the only method of cinquains I learned in school.

Your cinquains on the three main characters in '101 Dalmatians: The Series' fit each character perfectly. They turned out very nicely done... smooth and true. I certainly like them, thanks for posting them. I look forward to seeing what you do on one for Tripod, as he is my favorite non-main character.

2b honest, I'd say that my fav. character is a bit of a tie between Spot, Luck, and Cadpig. Spot is wise, and her identity crisis makes me think a bit of Mulan, (which I've been in a play form of as the emperor). Although, I like how brave and persistent Luck is, hence the Link of the Dalmatians. As for Cadpig, normally, I don't entirely like figures who are about 24/7 optimistic. However, I definitely like how she's able to help others with lifelong problems and emotional problems. Also, her occasional bursts of anger or rage, in her yells at least. She's just a laugh for me.

I see. Kind of like Haikus almost? Will you do these for other characters and some of our fancharacters once you get to know them?

Are "Cinquains" like poems? But not bad Lupus! Keep it up.

I've defined cinquains in my poetry thread. Basically a cinquain is a five lined poem, though the Method I use is also explained in my poetry gallery.

Well, actually Belchic, I have been able to do a poem on one of the many fancharacters on here, but the format is not that of a cinquain. I think Shadow ought to know who I made the poem about.
