When I first watched this show when it premiered in September 2000, I became hooked on it. I instantly fell in love with Cleo the purple poodle, who is still my favorite character from that show. Now if they only made more episodes today, or they made an anthro version...

I liked this show, hit the right cards for a kids show but wasn't overly stupid like say Barney. It had a solid cast and solid writing and has retained its popularity well (it was still in reruns up until this year at least).
New episodes though are never going to happen since John Ritter's death but at least the show got to go out with a bang thanks to the movie which did finally acknowledge Clifford wouldn't be the cheapest dog to keep. The show spun off Clifford's Puppy Days to add a little more to it.

Heheheh now this is one show I'm proud to be a fan of. I really like the Clifford series, even as a little kid.

Like Race said, the Show did have a solid cast and the stories actually did show what Pros a Giant could do.
Although, for the voice acting element, The thing with Animation is that you can replace a Voice Artist and no one would mind or tell the difference. I mean, Lucky has had two different voices in "101 Dalmatians The Series". Heck, there are "Live Action" shows where they get another actor to play a certain character (The Other Darrin).
Although, in the UK, They are dubbed by other actors, for some unexplained reason.
Not sure who voices them in the UK, But I know the US Dub had Kath Soucie (Cadpig, Rolly & Anita) and Cree Summer (Princess) did Cleo.
Haven't seen the Prequel Series though.
I heard that they might be making another movie. Anyone hear on this?

I too like the Clifford show. As said, a well put together show. I own a couple of the DVDs. One of Puppy Days and one of Big Red Dog. The Clifford franchise has just turned 50 years old. Our PBS station does still play reruns of the show, though I don't catch them often as it airs at 6:30am.

Did anyone hear about Norman Bridwell's passing last December? I was surprised.
A live-action/animation movie about Clifford is set to release in April 2016.
Did anyone have any favorite episodes from the show? I have too many, but my favorites include "Hooray for Cleo", "The Dog Who Cried Woof", "Mac's Secret Dog Club", "Princess Cleo", "No Baths for Cleo", "Who Moved My Bone?", "The Ears Have It", "Flood of Imagination", "Leaf of Absence", and "Dog House Rock".
