As some of you know, I now work at Dollar General, AND, (as some of you also know), I am attempting to save up enough money to pay for a 4-day trip to Disney World for...approximately next December. Originally, it would've been for six, (me, my mom, a friend of hers, an online friend and his roomie, and my brother), but as I think it over...my brother doesn't deserve to be rewarded so extravagantly because his behavior/personality is just a stubborn, selfish, impulsive greedy parasite...so I'm leaving him out of it. And if he ever gets wise, I'll just tell him that if he TRULY wants to come...he has to pay for himself ENTIRELY, (park tickets, his cut of the hotel room we'd have to share, airfare, AND...purchases AT the park), BUT...seeing as how he spends EVERYTHING he makes...that is never gonna happen.
He deserves to be left out imo. To pay for his presence, would just be to ignore if not encourage his pathetic behavior.
As for current progress, I've got exactly 1G in my savings but I've been making a lot of somewhat impulsive purchases the past month, (using only my checking), so...aside from paying $118 for a show for my mom and I to see, (in a fantastic stage theatre in Lancaster county), I don't plan on making anymore massive purchases like I did in October and November 1st.
That being said though, due to my college schedule set for the Spring Semester of 2018 my work hours will be diminished from mid Jan to Mid-May BUT...they will jump back up in Summer since I'd be free that interval. Regardless, with my brother excluded from the total cost of the Disney trip idea, that should take it down to maybe...4-5 grand I guess, (again, I'm paying for EVERYTHING that would be considered "down payment" in a way; airfare for all, Disney hotel, Disney park tickets, and dining plan), so I'm not that far off I'd say.
