November is coming in just a couple of days, and because of this--and also because it's one of the months in which Christmas is talked about a lot or a lot of Christmas stuff are seen in stores that month--I decided to start a thread in which we will discuss a Christmas rp for this year.
There seems to be a different Christmas rp on this board every year, and on each one of them I took part in, I used Flo, Tony, Ritz, and Eleanor. For this one, I decided to use Sunny, Cloudy, and Grumpy.
Right now, I'm gonna give this rp some time before I start it so we can all talk about it. So, what do you guys think we should do for this Christmas rp to make it different from the other ones?

About the only idea I have in mind, atm, is a Christmas Ball rp. Eh-heh A perfect time for couples to give each other gifts. Not to mention, Christmas bears a nice, wide range of songs to dance to. Slow ones, like "Blue Christmas" to a bit more fast-paced, like "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree". hehe

My ultimate suggestion is a "non ball" rp, so that people who have characters who aren't paired (or are paired and their date's creators aren't on this forum) can enjoy the holiday celebration to ^^;

Hmmm, A Majority of our Christmas RP's have been in the Barn, preparing for Christmas.
We should shake things up about it this year, could it be set around Gruteley, seeing how the Dalmatian's Home County celebrates it or something?

Yeah, most of the other rp's on this board, Christmas or not, took place in the farm. So, having this one take place somewhere else would be a good idea.
And I think it's best if we don't make this rp a ball one. We want all characters, with a mate present in the rp or not, to celebrate Christmas together. We already have a ball rp that is currently active anyway.

And how are we going to do a Christmas RP that set in Gruteley with our pups that are not even allowed in stores, not to mention the risk of being caught by Animal Control?
I don't want to have my pups constantly on the run from Animal Control trying to celebrate Christmas, that's just sad imo.

Let's be more positive here, okay, Shadow? There are places outside the farm that these characters can go to besides ones where dogs or other animals are not allowed. They can go to a frozen lake and do some ice-skating there.

Also, there should be a park in Gruteley. I mean, isn't that where Epsilon and Doc met in "Eyes of the Beholder" when Epsilon demonstrated his powers to Doc? Also, seeing as how it is Christmas, we could say that the Dog Catcher is on break, or vacation.

Yeah, Perhaps. And considering that the Family of over One Hundred & One Dalmatians is well known in Gruteley, I am sure they'd allow them some privledges. And I guess since they're wearing Collars, they'll be safe from Catchers, if they stand next to someone, pretending they're their human. ;3
Although, the Park sounds good. =3 What type of Festivals can Gruteley have at Christmas.
I know my Town has Victorian Christmas at the Dockyard. With all sorts of characters from the Victorian ages (e.g. Scrooge, Sweeney Todd) and I think they had some from Mary Poppins and a Titanic piece as well. Could they have something like that?

Hehe Sure. We cud go for something like people dressed in figures of a certain time. That'd be interesting. Heck, perhaps, those who participate, if they want, cud even dress up their OCs in an outfit that fits the era, (like say, a fedora for the Roaring 20's).

Didn't we have a Christmas RP we were doing last year that we locked and aid we'd continue this year?

We could try all that in this rp. We'll see what other things our characters can do while they're celebrating Christmas in the park.
And I'm not sure if anyone is really interested in continuing last year's Christmas rp. There are some people on this board who took part in that rp but are not with us anymore. We also have some people who became members on this board long after last year's Christmas rp was locked. Because of all this, I thought it would be best if we start a new Christmas rp instead.

Okay, since we've got a few people who are interested in this rp, I'll start it in a few days. Until then, I'll come up with the rules for this rp.
