Has anyone/anypony seen this show yet? Apparently most people like this show, but to me.....it didn't really get to me like MLP: FiM did.

Has it aired yet? Is there any videos of it on YouTube, yet?

Don't count on it bab. I'm not going to bother getting into this one until I find out one of my quirks comes into play on it. I do remember this toy line having a short-lived syndicated cartoon in the mid 90's, and it was BA-AD!

Yeah, But just because it had a bad run in the 90's, doesn't mean it will now.
Remember what I said about MLP before FIM? If Hub made MLP popular, they can with this. You never know, right?

I highly enjoyed the toyline when I was younger (in fact I still have most of my toys to this day), and I had a few books of it as well. I don't really see this working out very well as a television series though, since they really never gave any of them names or set personalities.
But, who knows? Like Bab said, it could be better than the other TV series was.

The first two episodes aired back-to-back and form a single adventure... Episode 1... www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Zpsx2eswiIEpisode 2... www.youtube.com/watch?v=LguipouQmFwHaven't watched any of them but the intro to the first episode. Not to my tastes as of yet but it has promise, a family station wagon catches some air in the first episode. Seems different but not bad, managed to copy the whole 'it's a girls cartoon but don't write it off just because of that' vibe pretty well. So far Zoe, the little purple dog, seems to be the most popular. Might be her appearence that has quickly earned her the nickname 'Twilight Barkle' (she's purple with a pink stripe in her 'hair' but the similarity is only on the surface, she's more a singer than a bookwarm... I think).

Is Zoe voiced by Tara Strong?

No, Nichole Oliver (Princess Celestia / Cheerilee on MLP). All-Canadian voice crew with the Ocean Group for Pet Shop (Tara for MLP was an exception on that show because the character was the lead and Lauren Faust wanted Tara involved)

To anyone who watches this show regularly: let me know if any of my quirks come into play on this series, and then I might start watching it.

If you don't care about it for any reason other than your quirks, which we told you numerous times to stop talking about constantly on this board, then don't bother. But for those who do care what's better than one purple spaniel? How about two, Zoey has a sister... www.youtube.com/watch?v=IqvSS_MqS7o... Not really watching this show, or this entire episode, but the show's humor seems to be picking up. The Chameleon steals a scene or two.

If you don't care about it for any reason other than your quirks, which we told you numerous times to stop talking about constantly on this board, then don't bother. Okay, seriously, Race, that was totally rude and uncalled for! Now, then, back on topic: I've just witnessed the first two episodes of this show out of curiosity's sake seeing that The Lord of Dust reviewed it, I decided to check it out. I gotta say, I might consider continuing to watch this series. MLP fans should enjoy it considering that Ashleigh Ball, Tabitha St. Germain and Nicole Oliver are all in the cast. The songs are not quite as good as MLP's songs, especially since they're a bit more teeny-bopping-Disney-Channel-like than the MLP songs. In regards to my quirks, the totem pole trench was technically done, but it was only in kind of an imagination sequence. Right now, I'll need to do some more research and watch more episodes before I can get a full opinion on it.

1) I have no idea what the theme song is saying past a point. "WE CAN BEGIN"?
2) Why is it called a pet shop when it's a pet supply store and day care?
3) Twilight Barkle is a clever fan nickname for Zoe, and I like the triple crossover in the name, but all that is Twilight Sparkle about Zoe is her hair and general color scheme. She's much more like Rarity!
4) Yes, I like the show!

I had a couple other things I wanted to say about the show.
1. With the exception of Zoe, all the other female pets sound like Kath Soucie, even though none of them are.
2. Tabitha St. Germaine must be a very multi-voiced talent like Corey Burton, because you have no idea what she's going to sound like next!
3. I noticed something that might be a throwback to 101 Dalmatians. The scene transition with the paw prints reminds me a lot of the same one used in the series. Although, I doubt it's a reference to it.
4. Another voice actor I recognized is Samuel Vincent. Yes, the guy who voiced Russell is the voice of Edd from EE&E. This is almost like a cast reunion!

Oh good grief, that last episode. The pets' plot was nice. I did not like the human plot at all. Anita and Cruella have a better more realistic friendship in the series than Blythe has with human kids, and that's saying something!
Blythe's three friends at her school shouldn't have said she couldn't have also been friends with the Biskits. That was stooping to the Biskits' level. At the end of the episode, Sue told Blythe not to wear makeup, and Blythe likes makeup. I think Blythe's main friends are just as controlling and wanting Blythe to conform to them as the Biskits are. The only difference is they don't go around bullying and scheming.
As for the Biskits themselves, yeah, they're brats, but Blythe rejected their friendship on Day One. Everything they've done against Blythe has been petty revenge. They probably don't have any friends other than each other, and they've continually tried to get Blythe to be their friend and just don't know how to make friends because of the way they were raised, so I feel bad for them.
Anita and Cruella, especially in the TV series, have a working friendship in comparison to this, and like I said, that's saying something! At least they don't tell each other they can't have other friends, they don't judge each other for being different from each other, and Anita never rejected Cruella just for being eccentric. They were childhood friends according to the original book and some Disney books. Blythe and the Biskits, and Blythe's friends, in contrast, are just incredibly cardboard and shallow toward each other.
I don't want my kids to think they have to fit in with their friends to be friends with them. People can be whatever they want to be, as long as they're not hurting anybody, and real friends know that. "Friends" who tell you otherwise aren't really your friends. I also don't want my kids to think they have to pick and choose friends. "It's us or them" is a red flag to avoid people.

I'd have to agree with you, Cruella. I don't find the human stories as interesting as the pet's stories.
The next episode is going to focus on Penny Ling, so look forward to that.
