Hey, I was wondering if Shadow saw the most recent episode? If you did, Shadow, would you say that the climax of the episode reminded you somewhat of a RP we did once?

I just discovered today that this show is already jumping on the merchandise bandwagon. I was at Target today, and I happened to see toys based on the show. Unfortunately, most of them were of unfamiliar characters who have not appeared in the series (at least not yet), and the only main character from the show that I saw was Minka.

I think the main characters are a box set, this series exists just to sell toys and all Hasbro's series have lots of toyline exclusive characters.

Well, obviously, it is a toy line. But since its got a TV show, you would think they'd acknowledge it better. I mean MLP's toy line doesn't seem to focus as much on the main 6 in the toys, but instead more on Princess Celestia, Shining Armor, Princess Cadence, and RECOLORS of the main 6. I mean, why recolors? Those are supposed to be fanbrat creations, not official Hasbro merchandise!

I'd like to do a vote here: To all who watch this show (which I am aware isn't much), which of the 7 main pets is your favorite? Mine is Pepper.

I'm with TT. I like Zoe. Music just gets control of me easily, and Zoe knows how to start a GOOD song.

They do that with their Transformers in many cases.

I only have a couple things to say about this episode:
The style of the song I felt was very appropriate for this episode. A 60's bubble gum Doo-wop pop song made perfect sense.
I personally didn't like the guest pet on this episode. She has this habit of saying random stuff that doesn't make any sense, then doing this weird thing with her ears and tail, then saying her catchphrase: "Anywhooo..."

This show is really weird sometimes and I don't know why I watch it. I mean, I know I watch it due to associations with other shows, but this show itself is really weird. There's something quite gross about the pets jumping in food all the time (and yet I don't find it gross when Rolly does).

I must say that I really don't like the rabbit that they added as a recurring character. I find her to be annoying. Sadly, that's what happens with all shows: whenever they introduce a new character to try to boost the ratings up, the show just declines from that point on (I guess most people would call it "Scrappy Doo Syndrome").

The show only started in November, though. Bit early for a Scrappy. I like Buttercream, I just wish her catchphrase wasn't so long.

This is one of the few shows I actually did watch, just because I found a channel on youtube with all the episodes so I have seen them all and well, it is a nice show. It definitely doesn't take itself too seriously/ It seems to say. "Hey let's do this... don't worry about how, it's funny." judging by the lack of attempt to explain why blythe can talk to animals or her dad can follower her around in school all day. Yet there's also the feeling that it is there just to sell toys too, with how they keep showing the main character's traits, and... well... I can't really explain why but the first like 10 episodes either sucked or were mediocre, and then they suddenly got good. They do feel kind of cliche but that is probably because I have seen so many of the same plots and stuff even some jokes in the 90's which the target audience would have not seen. But after that they seemed to become much more entertaining.
The bunny is a good edition I think. She's all hyped up on sugar and it has fried her brain. I don't get her catchphrase though but oh wells as I said the show doesn't care too much about why they do stuff. Which is something I like sort of. One thing I found funny was that random dog that appeared out of nowhere in the sweets truck episode. She seemed... stoned or something. I found her mellowness funny and she was totally random and out of nowhere... with sprinkles in her fur... yeah those sweets shop animals are nuts. I think they're putting more than sugar in those sweets. That is a character I would like to see again though.

Anyone else who saw this week's episode notice anything unusual about it? This is the first time ever we've had absentee actors on the show. Pepper, Minka and Penny-Ling were nowhere to be seen in this episode at all. Also, Sunil was only in the first part. Also, I still can't stand Buttercream at all!
