Yes, Trey! This was part of the reason why I wanted to avoid the new series in the first place! What made me decide to start watching it was ObsessionIsMagic's recap of it, and thank God the writers have given this series the same thing that MLP:FIM and Pound Puppies were given that made them so great. EFFORT! HONEST TO GOD, EFFORT!

There seems to be a lot of hype for tomorrow's season Premeire. I must say, the plots both sound interesting, especially the first one.

Okay, before any of you say ANYTHING, yes, I am aware the pets did pile up on each other in the first episode. However, I think they were stacked in a really weird order. Also...why did they do it exactly?

Personally, I didn't like this episode very much. Not just because of the absentee pets (seriously, where were all the girls?), but the whole episode seemed pretty cliche and predictable. Also, it seemed like overkill to have a Russell-focused episode right after we just had one.

Despite being slightly more popular than Pound Puppies, I'm predicting that this series is not going to go beyond 65 episodes, because honestly, there really isn't too much they can do with this show.

This is more popular than pound puppies? How? It's not even as original as pound puppies. Still I am certain it won't go past 65 episodes, it's just not good enough even though they seem to be trying a tish bit harder this season.

This is what I read on Wikipedia: Writer Roger Eschbacher announced that a third season consisting of 26 episodes is in production, to which he wrote the fourth episode in production order. They list that the series now has 46 episodes, and with those additional 26, there will be at least 72.

I have to agree with General here.
To me, LPS is pretty much the weakest of the Hub Trilogy.
FIM too a Franchise which had become a joke and gained it a huge fanbase outside it's intended audience. Pound Puppies took original ideas and was able to create some good characters and stories. LPS though...I think the "Zoe is Twilight mixed with Rarity" point has been made a lot and...to be honest, that's the only one of them I would recognise, most times I see them just playing fantasy doing parodies of other shows.
Is this going to be a case of; "Popular Cause It Reminds Me Of Something"?

Trey_Vore: That's kind of surprising if I do say so myself. Sounds to me like Hasbro is trying to push the show's popularity. Unlike Pound Puppies, though, with this show, I think they're trying to hard. babclayman: Isn't that more just your opinion? However, you do bring up some good points there: I personally think all three of the HubToons are A+ shows. Though, I would not compare the HubToon Trilogy to something like the Toy Story Trilogy or the original Star Wars Trilogy where as there is no best one or worst one regardless of what most fans say. I think I would compare it more to the Indiana Jones Trilogy. Here's what I mean: My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic would be like Last Crusade. It's badass and has a huge cult following. Pound Puppies would be like Raiders of the Lost Ark. It's really good, an original concept, and it's highly reccomended. Littlest Pet Shop would be like Temple of Doom. It's easily the worst of the trilogy, but it's still good. (Temple is my personal favorite of the IJ Trilogy.) How does my analogy sound there?

I happened to stop and watch a commercial advertising the 2nd season of this show. Just to be clear: I'm not entirely watching this show just to see the pets do my quirk. While I'm not sure if they will or not (it is possible), but there is possibly going to be an episode where the pets do one of those advanced primitive mecha kind of disguises. Though I could be wrong. If you don't know what I mean: for those of you who played Paper Mario and remember the Bowser costume the Koopa Bros. used; that's what I'm talking about.

Well remember that back in 2008 the Academy Award for Best Picture went to Slumdog Millionaire, and it made a total for $377 million worldwide. However, Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight was not even considered for Best Picture but worldwide it made over $1,000,000,000. Maybe I didn't win a statue that says I know how to make art, but hell, I just had one hell of a payday! If you look on TV Tropes, the listing for Pound Puppies says "Compared to other shows on The Hub, this series often seems overlooked by fans" with links to series that appear to do better in ratings like My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Littlest Pet Shop, Transformers Prime and Dan Vs., suggesting you may think this series is weakest, but in terms of ratings, I would vouch otherwise.

You are indeed right about Pound Puppies being overlooked. And guess what? That show had a longer lifespan than the more popular Dan Vs.
Back on topic of Littlest Pet Shop: I'm starting to wonder what it is about girls' shows that make them so popular. As a matter of fact, I've come to the conclusion that shows that have a specific gender for their target demographic are far more popular than the ones that are equally made for both genders.

I've learned a couple things from this week's episode:
1. I now know that this show takes place in New York City, but I'm sure some of you may have already known that.
2. This episode did give me a bit of an idea how strong Penny Ling is. I guess pulling the weight of the other pets plus the weight of the dumb waiter is a bit much for her, yet I think I can still consider her the muscle of the team.
