Since I made a topic like this for the previous two years, I decided to continue the tradition. Here is what I'm thinking of for some of the animated films of 2013:
Films I definitely want to see: The Croods Frozen Despicable Me 2
Films that I'm kinda iffy on: Dorothy of Oz Postman Pat: The Movie Mr. Peabody & Sherman Turbo Planes
Films I definitely don't want to see: Epic Escape from Planet Earth Monsters University Mighty Mouse Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2
Any other thoughts, pups?

All I know is some of these I will need more information on.
So I will not judge until I hear more.

Planes...That's set in the Car Universe, isn't it?
Not really a lot of Animated Films on that list that grasp my attention though. =s
I mean, I did grow up with Postman Pat, although not sure what the plot of that would be. I have heard that David Tennant and Rupert Grint are in it though.
And if you name a Film; Epic...Chances are it isn't...Right? ^^;

Here's what AniMatt has to say about the upcoming animated films of this year, and surprisingly, I agree with him 85%:
Escape from Planet Earth - Ugghh! The Croods - Maybe. Epic - Interesting! Monsters University - Doubt. Despicable Me 2 - Awesome! Turbo - We'll see. Planes - Wait...This'll be in theaters? Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 - Oh no! Peabody & Sherman - Might have potential. Frozen - Shut up and take my money!
I only disagree with his thoughts on Epic and Turbo.

I'm going to take a cue from him and do the same: Escape from Planet Earth - Don't think so. The Croods - Possible. Epic - Maybe. Monsters University - Uh, no. Despicable Me 2 - Great! Turbo - Not sure. Planes - Are you serious? Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 - D'oh! Peabody & Sherman - Here's hopin'. Frozen - I demand it!

Escape from Planet Earth- Yuck. Looks like another Planet 51. No thanks. The Croods- Definitely not. This just looks awful to me. I really don't want to see it. Epic- Absolutely! The premise behind this movie and the animation (as well as the fact that Amanda Seyfried is gonna be in it) are both just stunning to me. Yes please! Monsters University- Also a yes. Monsters, Inc. holds a lot of nostalgic value with me and seeing the prequel to it is going to be amazing. Despicable Me 2- Eh...I'm still a little unsure about this. A sequel felt totally unnecessary to me, but from what I could see in the commercials I'm not hating it. So, maybe. Turbo- This looks really cute, actually. I may go see it. c: Planes- I'm not jumping out of my seat to go see it, but if it does well I might. It's how I felt about Cars 2, anyway, and I liked that one. So, who knows? Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2- No thank you. One was enough. Peabody & Sherman- I don't know a whole lot about this one, either, but maybe. Frozen- Yes please! New 2-D Disney movie; I will take it and absorb it and revel in how good it's going to be. Mighty Mouse- Again, maybe. This is another one that I don't know a lot about, so I may just skip it. Dorothy of Oz- I was actually kind of hyped for this back when it was first announced (and I was still a Glee fangirl) because one of hte main actresses in Glee is voicing Dorothy. Plus, I'm a sucker for anything with the Wizard of Oz. So I'll probably go see it, but only if someone comes with me. xD

Alright, here are my personal thoughts:
Escape from Planet Earth - No way! The Croods - Looks interesting. Epic - Uh-uh! Monsters University - I'll pass. Despicable Me 2 - Alright! Turbo - Need more info. Planes - Not sure. Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 - WTF? Peabody & Sherman - Maybe. Frozen - Can't wait!

We just got the movie Escape From Planet Earth in theatres and as of this writing...
...It's hard to say. On Rotten Tomatoes the movie as of now it has no percentage. Only two reviews, one good and one bad, have been counted.
It seems to mean the movie's not really getting screened for critics, and that probably means it's not worth seeing.
Then again, it was made by The Weinstein Company, who made Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil.

Hmm, That isn't a good sign if it didn't have a screening for Critics. Seems to imply they got something to hide. Unless there's a "Really Big Twist" or something they're hiding. Eh?
Think it's going to be a Mixed-Review Film then?

More reviews came in and it's generally negative.
So I'll probably skip it and see A Good Day to Die Hard.

Please let us know if 'A Good Day to Die Hard' is any good, I've also been thinking of seeing that. "Yippee Ki-Yay Mother Russia!"

Sheesh! Are they still making Die Hard movies? And why do they always have to come up with such ludicrous titles for them?

Why we talking on Die Hard here? o.o I recall some people claimed the Meterior in Russia was God punishing them for the new Die Hard Film. If God does exsist, I think he'd have more worthy causes to do than smiting a country a certaim film was filmed in. I got my Thoughts on the Animated Films of 2013. Escape from Planet Earth- Looks like a Role Reversal of Planet 51…Which was a Role Reversal of E.T. The Croods- Looks like someone wants to remake the Flintstones… Epic- Looks like a Final Fantasy Game. Monsters University- I am awkward about this one because it’s a prequel. The factor that makes me unsure is that since it takes place before the first film, it lacks any real tension since we know how things are going to be, due to the first movie. Right? Although, the trailers seem to suggest that the Monsters get stuck in the Human World? Or something like that, eh? ^^; Despicable Me 2- Think this may become to Dreamworks what Cars is to Pixar? Turbo- Hm, It could work. Like Ratatouie but with a fast snail. Although, just hope it won’t be a one joke movie. ^^’ Planes- Pixar really have an obsession with the Cars Universe, don’t they? Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2- Eh, how can you make a sequel when all the problems seemed fixed in the first one? Peabody & Sherman- Isn’t it that one with the Time Travel Dog and Boy? Or is it a Spin-Off to Back To The Future and that Crazy Pine Tree Breeder…and the Plot is him going around shooting at people who cut down Pine Trees...If that is the case, that be awesome! Frozen- Well, it’s good that Disney are adapting more Fairy Tales, I can just see Disney Store celebrating their new Princess now! Although, wouldn’t have minded if it was Cel. Mighty Mouse- I admit, when I was younger, I always thought Mighty Mouse was Mickey. Depends what reviews say. Dorothy of Oz- Will this be a retelling of Wizard of Oz or a Return to Oz story? I bet a lot of people will compare it to the Musical Film, won’t they? What you think then, Pups? O.O

"Planes- Pixar really have an obsession with the Cars Universe, don’t they?"
The brand is making money like crazy, of course they'll milk it like crazy
(Ironically to the 'God smites' theory while the new Die Hard is set in Moscow it was filmed mainly in Turkey.)

If God does exsist, I think he'd have more worthy causes to do than smiting a country a certaim film was filmed in. It's METEOR, not METERIOR! Bab, I really hope you're not turning into a troll here! Also, the reason I'm talking about Die Hard is because Race brought it up. Ah, a ripoff of a ripoff then? Just because the movie is about cave people doesn't mean it's a Flintstones rip off! That would be like if I said Marley & Me was a ripoff of 101 Dalmatians just because its about a dog. Reminds me more of the Phantasy Star games. Everyone seems to have low expectations about this film, which is probably a first for Pixar. I myself am going to pass on this since I never liked the original, and this looks to me like they're just rein acting Animal House. Despicable Me is NOT Dreamworks! Also, I doubt that. Whatever. Cars is apparently Pixar's baby. I think the more appropriate question is: How can you make a sequel to a movie that's based in a stand-alone children's book? W...WHAT? What kind of a rock have you been living under, bab??? It's based on a cartoon by Jay Ward! I don't know where the hell you got that Back to the Future spinoff idea from! It's going to be CG, bab, not cel. That answer your questions, bab?
