Wonder how it differs to MSN? It's VERY different from msn. Group chats are easier to organize, you can webcam or voice chat, etc. And honestly.. I think Skype is the superior instant messenger |3 I agree. I have recently gotten a new laptop and I won't really bother with re-installing msn. Skype is the way to go. My Skype handle contains my real name so I won't be giving it out here. Maybe only to a few remote people. Group calls are free on Skype, but group video chats are for premium membership. It's impossible to host with regular skype. Though only one person needs the premium to make it work. The rest can have regular.

Indeed, Skype is the way to go these days.
I remember giving out my skype name before, good thing there is a way for us to change our names though. Some of us are uncomfortable having our real names on Skype. Anyway, like Kit I won't be giving out my Skype name here.

Changing names is one thing, but my Skype handle still has a variation on my name, which is a little too close to my actual name.

This saddens me. I feel like I'll lose a lot of contacts, more than I already have. The computer I used before couldn't download Skype, and the computer I'm using now says it's too slow to connect to Skype.

Strangely, I can't access Skype via my Microsoft account, it always ends up showing an error has occurred...

I was definitely sad to hear when MSN Messenger shutdown. But, I agree that so far Skype seems to be much better. But, there was a nostalgic feeling to MSN Messenger.
