So I know the following pups have been confirmed for the original 15 litter:
Lucky: Male Rolly: Male Patch: Male Penny: Female Pepper: Female Freckles: Male Wizzer: Male Dipstick: Male Jewel: Female Fidget: Male Two-Tone: Female Cadpig: Female
Though we are still unofficial on the remaining three. I know most of us believe they are Blackie, Whitie and Salter. Though is there any source confirming their real names and if they are either male or female?

There is the Book, I show in this page, which is where the names for; Salter, Blackie & Whitey come from. I think there are some Tie-In Materials, to the "Live Action" "101 Dalmatians", that names some of the Pups too.
Not sure on their Genders, though the; “Novel” does claim that there are Eight Males and Seven Females.
There is also debate on Pepper’s Gender too as I have seen multiple sources give both genders for them.
What makes you think Pepper is female, May I ask, Belchic?

At this point, it's all up to speculation on Pepper's gender. There's evidence for one and there's evidence for the other. Unless it's confirmed once and for all, then we have no way of knowing. That's what I think on Pepper's gender, bab. ^^
I still have issues with Salter, Blackie and Whitey as they come from a book where all of the pups' names are in pairs like Rolly and Jolly, Penny and Lenny, and so on with the exclusion of Lucky.
I prefer to consider Missy from the book "Proud to be a Pup" as one of the Original 15. I also went a step further into using names from the 101 Dalmatians plushie merchandise, and analyzing Pongo and Perdita's personalities on my own to see what names THEY would pick, arriving at two other names: Inky and Bravo.
I explained the process in the other Original 15 thread and in the picture I drew of the Original 15. You, Belchic, asked me where it was confirmed that Missy, Inky, and Bravo are the other three pups. To that, I'm gonna respond again, I have my reasoning and my own evidence. Names that don't form pairs like the ones in the book Blackie, Whitey, and Salter come from were taken out as the Original 15's names are unique on their own. Names are also based on physical features, most of which on spots.
That's what I think.

Ohhhh, I tried to work out this exact thing when I was younger. I bet I still have my own list tucked away in a notebook somewhere. X3 Belchic's list looks correct from what I remember. Although like Bab and DJ RJ, I've seen people disagree over Pepper's gender. And Freckles' too, interestingly enough. O.o I've always seen him as a boy, though - he has a red collar in the original movie, and he's male in most merchandise I've seen too.
As to the other three, I suppose they're open to interpretation, depending on what sources you interpret as canon. :3

Well, babclayman, as we have discussed on this board numerous times, Pepper is more commonly a girl's name. Examples? Pepper Ann Pepper, Oxnard's girlfriend on Hamtaro. Pepper the skunk on Littlest Pet Shop. I even chose Tabitha St. Germaine as her VA as sort of an actor allusion.

There is also; Pepper Adams, Pepper Keenan and Pepper Rdgers, who are Male. I also think that there is a Male character, called; Pepper, in the ABBA Musical too, isn' there?
I do remember taking a tst on, which Dalmatian I am, and it seem to claim that Pepper is the Dalmatian who calls Thunderbolt 'The Gretes Dog In The Whol World", and that Pup wears a Blue Collar, don' they?

Well, Belchic, to be completely fair, while not common, Pepper can be a guy's name. And remember, this is also a Dalmatian, where a common stereotype is to name based on spots. I'm not entirely disagreeing, while I agree that Pepper is a female, there's evidence for both male and female, so there's no solid conclusion we can arrive at. Pepper's even been addressed as male and female in various Disney 101D books. So, yeah... It's all up to interpretation.
And still, about that Blackie, Whitey, and Salter... I'm still having trouble with that, as it creates two pairs of names that coincide. Blackie and Whitey, and Salter and Pepper. I know, it's for the comedic effect, but if they were going to do name-puns like that with the Original 15 OUTSIDE of that one book, they would have done it already.

Well, that should be an indication that Pepper is a girl then since she did have a very feminine voice too. Besides, I got Pepper on the "Which puppy are you?" quiz, and I believe it said "she" in there somewhere.

I'm posting here to ask something that is obviously something not really worth thinking about but has to be gone out of the way.
As we all know, the original fifteen puppies were born in October, according to Pongo in the original animated film. So, I did two things on here that has to do with that fact. First, I asked which of the thirty-one days of October the original fifteen puppies were born on in the "Stupid Questions" thread, and DJ RJ left a response to that question, making a guess that it's the 24th (not surprisingly, it's October 24 when this post is being made), exactly one week before Halloween. Next, I started a birthday rp that has a Halloween theme to it.
Now, I have to ask; Which day in October would you guys say the original fifteen puppies were born on? Or are you just gonna go with DJ RJ's guess and say the 24th and not go into further discussion about it?

What I do know about the night, Perdita gives brth to her litter, is that there is a Storm.
Though, if you look at the; "Disneystrology" Book, it lists Pongo on; the Frst of October. So, it is possible that it could also be on the frst of October.
Can that be possible, Flo?

I've looked into Disneystrology at some point before, and I'll honestly say that I don't follow that, for that has nothing to do with anything.
