Yeah someone brought this thread up a while ago wanting to know something about the live action adult dog, but this thread is for Dippy the pup.. in all his incarnations but mainly the series =3
since rping him I've really come to love Dippy and I like to think he isn't nearly as stupid as everyone thinks... it would make sense with how he behaves in 102D, being so clever and all.. perhaps he doesn't like to apply himself and is lazy. x3
my personal theory also to tie him together with his adult variation is that he started off with minimal spots and kinda "grew into them". It would make sense with his daughter having no spots after all. x3

Ah, with the spots theory, could being a late spotter be in Dipstick's genes then? Of course, would that mean Pongo or Perdita are late spotters too?
With his behaviour, between "101 Dalmatians The Series" & "102 Dalmatians", Dipstick did turn from bit of a dreamer to fatherly figure, maybe when he met Dottie, he felt he needed to straighten himself a bit?
Dipstick is a sweet Pup, like in "Twelve Angry Pups". ;3 Although, does any other Pup here think he sounded different when he talked in "Dog Food Day Afternoon"? Sounded a bit deeper, didn't it?

Well, FYI, Tippy's original Dad is named Dippy.

That's something I already knew, but this is not the right topic to talk about Tippy's original father. So, let's get back on topic and talk about Dipstick, okay?

So, let's get back on topic and talk about Dipstick, okay? @flo: I was talking to Mizan, not you. Back on topic: I honestly don't know why Dipstick has so many fans. I guess there's a good reason why I included him on the Ensemble Dark Horse list for this series.

Let's not argue now. So Dipstick's nickname is The name of Belchic's Dal, don't see a problem with that.
Dippy is an okay nickname for Dipstick, it isn't a trademarked word or anything...
Still; back on subject with Dipstick... Any Pups seen what he's like in "102 Dalmatians: Puppies To The Rescue"?

And I know you were talking to Mizan and not me, Belchic, but I just wanted to make things clear on the subject.
Now, I can't really say much about Dipstick. I mean, I know he is in the animated series and the first live-action film as a pup and the second live-action film as an adult, but I really don't know what I can say about him.

Does that mean Nemo likes hanging with him in Mooch's Gang too? X3 Well, I guess she needs to get the fleas from somewhere, where she wishes to play a joke on Mooch, eh?

I don't mean to sound rude to anyone, but the fact that so many people want to bring Wizzer and Dipstick back into Mooch's gang is just giving me a headache. I understand there are a lot of us here who don't like change, but sometimes change is a good thing. I also think it's best to leave them out anyway since Two-Tone is no longer in the gang, plus poor little Dipstick would have a headache himself for trying to be a normal puppy, Tic-Tac's sidekick, AND a bully all at the same time!

"plus poor little Dipstick would have a headache himself for trying to be a normal puppy, Tic-Tac's sidekick, AND a bully all at the same time!"
Quote button isn't working for me for some reason, so I'm just quoting it with quotation marks. Not sure if you realize this Belchic, but he isn't technically all 3 at the same time. It depends on who is writing/using him and for what.
Like for example, it's only in Tac's stories Dipstick is known as Tic-Tac's sidekick. While according to say, Mizan (for example) may write him as being a member of Mooch's gang. Nobody owns the canon characters, so all the members here can write him however they want.
