This is a fan character I made up for the Hub's Pound Puppies. His name is Spotty. He is a Dalmatian, and he's a little bit smaller than Lucky and Cookie. He's the smart Alec of the group, but also kind of a whimp. Patches is his cousin. I haven't yet decided what his job within Shelter 17 would be. As for his voice actor, I decided he'll be voiced by Collin Mocherie.

I decided that as I watch each episode, I'm going to post in here what Spotty will do in each episode.
In "The Yipper Caper" he doesn't do very much. He sort of goes along with the dogs in their plan, and he doesn't say much other than a couple witty retorts toward Lucky. Though, at the end, Cookie brings up the fact that Lucky saved Squirt and made Niblet happy, but she also says that he saved Strudel's life and gave Spotty a reason not to make fun of him.

If he's voiced by Colin Mocherie, I assume he'll be Canadian or something like that?

Even though Collin Mocherie is Canadian, that doesn't mean Spotty has to be. Anyway...
In "Nightmare on Pound Street", Spotty goes trick-or-treating with Lucky, Cookie and Niblet, and he goes dressed as a hockey player. This episode also introduces Spotty's catchphrase: "This won't end well." Which he usually says after one of the other dogs says they have a plan or is hinting towards having a plan, and he always says it right before a transition to the next scene.
Another thing I should say about Spotty is that he actually likes Cookie a lot...as a friend, that is. He knows that she and Lucky are secretly in love with each other and encourages their relationship (but that's also unknown to the other dogs).

I just saw "Rebound", and honestly, I'm not sure what Spotty would do in this episode. I guess there will be an instance when McLeash has the pound boarded up, Spotty will stand on Cookie's back to try to look over the boards and see what's going on.

In "The General", Spotty is kind of like Lucky, as he doesn't fall for General Dolly as quick, but he eventually does. During all the chaos at the adoption fair, Spotty says this one line, "How hard is it to remember four simple words!?"

In "The Prince and the Pupper", Spotty keeps saying to the other dogs that he has a plan to get passed the no dog zone. He thinks it's a very smart plan, but the other dogs keep turning down the idea. But we never find out what it is.
I actually thought of something else. In this version of the show with Spotty, Season 2 will have 13 additional episodes along with the 13 that are official. Spotty will have a couple central focus episodes amongst those 13. Also, one of those 13 will be the RP that Two-Tone and I did, except it'll be extended to fit 22 minutes. I decided if that was an episode, it would be called "Penny for Your Thoughts". There will also be a story arc and backstory in other episodes, but I'll talk about those when I get closer to the episodes I am referencing.

You know what? I think I'm gonna go ahead and talk about it right now.
In one of these extra S2 episodes I speak of, there will be one episode where Lucky is considering letting Spotty off the team because he thinks he is useless. Spotty is desperate to not have this happen, so he tries to prove he has what it takes to be a Pound Puppy by delivering the pup to his person. However, Lucky can't go with him because he's got another more important assignment to take care of. So Lucky asks Cookie to go with Spotty to make sure he does things right. The important assignment Lucky is referring to is the events that go on in "The Pups Who Loved Me". This will explain why Cookie and Spotty are out of commission in that episode.
There's also some kind of backstory Spotty has with Cookie. Before the two of them were brought into Shelter 17, Cookie saved his life. This explains why Cookie is his best friend, but he thinks she is a more suitable mate for Lucky, which is why he supports their love for each other.

Okay, here goes:
In "Cat Calls", Spotty's feline counterpart will be named Polka.
In "King of the Heap", Spotty will actually be out of commission for a majority of the episode. He'll only be in the last scene. He'll pop up with Lucky and Cookie asking what he missed last night, and at the end after Lucky says, "Here we go again!" Spotty follows up with his catchphrase ("This won't end well.")
Also, in the show's intro, Spotty will be the one luring the pups in with the bone on the fishing rod.

Two things I thought up in "My Fair Rebound":
When Lucky, Cookie and Niblet are sneaking through Agatha's garden, and they go into statue mode, the first time, Spotty is standing alone, but the second time when Lucky and Cookie are standing back to back, Spotty is standing on top of them on his hind legs.
This one will probably be interesting: During the first 7 episodes, Spotty moves swiftly and jerky like those William Shatner characatures, but starting with this episode, due to the animation change, he discontinues that. At one point in the episode, he says this line: "I picked a bad time to start taking my medication", which is kind of an explanation as to why he's stopped doing it.

Ok. Got quite a lot to say about "Quintuplets":
1. When the Pound Puppies first see the commercial for the 5 car dealer, Spotty makes a remark about how the planets must have aligned.
2. When they see the news report on what the pups had caused, Spotty says, "You gotta admit, that is pretty funny.
3. In the infamous trench coat scene, Spotty's also standing upright wearing a trench coat of his own as well as a fedora hat and a pair of sunglasses. When Niblet joins the rest of the group, Spotty signals him to come on over, and the sleeves on his coat go over his paws.
4. At the end, Spotty tells Lucky that he overheard that whole speech he made and said that he had a cousin of his own, which of course is hinting towards a foreshadowing of an upcoming Season 2 episode...

The only thing I officially thought up for "Dog on a Wire" is at the end, Spotty brags about how awesome the circus was and continues to talk about ideas he has for the Pound Puppies to do as it fades to black.
He'll also have an invention of Strudel's that he'll have a problem with, but I haven't thought of it.

I think I decided that Spotty's job in the pound is finding locations for where the dogs have to go.
In "Homeward Pound", there's a part where Spotty says that Strudels rhyming puns are getting annoying. Also, when Lucky says he's going to Canada, Spotty suggests he goes with him since he spent some time in Canada before, but Lucky declines and insists he stays at the pound.
Going off-topic: I still don't understand why this is considered one of the best episodes in the series. It's a day in the limelight episode, there's major separation between the main team, and above all, it ends with an unresolved conflict. I mean, I've seen a lot of Disney and Looney Tune shorts as well as episodes to mainstream cartoons end with unresolved conflicts, but those were for comedic purposes; here...it just doesn't work!

Okay, Spotty is in "Rebel Without a Collar", but he doesn't speak in the whole episode. Cookie's motivations in the episode leave him a bit speechless. There is one scene, though, when Strudel tries to comfort Lucky over Cookie's departure, Spotty puts a paw on Lucky's shoulder and gives him a smile hinting that he knows how he really feels.

Spotty says a lot of good and funny lines in "Taboo", but here are two that stick out:
After Niblet makes the joke about a good feeling in his tummy turning out to be gas, then Cookie says she had the same feeling which was actually love, Spotty makes a joke thinking it was her stomach growling due to hunger.
After Taboo tells the dogs his story, Lucky says he doesn't believe in Taboo's bad luck, and Spotty adds in that he felt a little suspicious about the rain in Taboo's flashback.
