Seems like an interesting topic to discuss. I suppose Noggin would be in the Bark Brigade. Belchic and Tippy...maybe, but Joey, definitely not.

It's mentioned in the biography of Saturn that she is a member of the Bark Brigade; however, due to her night-owl tendencies, she tends to skip training sessions in favor of sleeping in, and gets reprimanded by Lt. Pug often for this.
Appette was part of it for a brief time, but quit shortly after due to the fact that Pug wouldn't stop poking fun at her weight.
Ariel, Quentin, Goose, and Luca are all a part of it, though Luca is treated in the same manner as Spot because she's a cat.

Lilly and Sandy are my only ones in the Bark Brigade. Chive and Camera got kicked out.

Growlie is the only one of mine in the Bark Brigade (regularly?), but she isn't really liked there because her long legs give her a bit of an unfair biological advantage. Ginger's tried it out with Growlie before but it wasn't her shtick, so she dropped out of it early on. Pudge likes to join Growlie because of his natural competitiveness, so I guess you could consider him a part of it as well (even though he only really rides around on her head - the cheater!). I'm thinking it might be possible that the Muddy in the 101D verse might be a part of it, but not regularly due to her not even being on the farm half the time (still developing her relationship to the 101D world 'n that). I could definitely see her joining Growlie in it, though. Neither Arne or Trevor have been a part of it, but in the future I think it would also be quite possible for Trevor to try it out, particularly if he felt invited or accepted into the group. Arne has a complete disinterest though, so I'm not pinning my hopes on him. Interesting topic! It's cool to see which fan characters are more often depicted as being a part of the brigade.

I don't know if 'Bark Brigade' needs a Science Advisor. ^^"
I imagine Luca would get more prejudice against her from Lt. Pug. The Colonel, Captain & SGT. Tibbs would probably be okay with her, but knowing Pug... ^^"
Sandy is a valuable asset for her...voice, isn't she, General? ;3
Ooh, so Growlie IS in the Brigade then. Okay, at least I am right, when mentioning Growie in my "When Blotches Met Chive" Fic. ;3 Pudge as a Cadet would be amusing. Spot's a Cadet, why not Pudge?

I always figured they were all in it, seemed like it was there whenever they wanted to do a school-themed episode (dogs can't normally play hookey from anything)

I still wonder to this day why Captain, Colonel and Sgt. Tibbs thought Pug would make a good Lieutenant. He doesn't. He's too hot tempered, rude, selfish, stubborn, always ruining the pups fun, always thinking about some cat invasion that never happens, and he suffers from narcolepsy (which you would think one might be considerate of when deciding whether or not to hire him). Don't you think maybe they'd look for someone who's more fair and doesn't suffer from Pug's problems? I was wondering, actually, if Pug was in the animated movie, he'd probably be working with Captain, Colonel and Tibbs, but how would his character play out?

What's the Bark Brigade's exact function on the farm? Keeping the pups in shape? Training them into soldiers? A school for the pups?
I think out of my pups; Kit, Terry and (to make things interesting) Frida would be a part of the brigade.

I guess it's like an Education for Pups, cause I know they also learn 'Barking Code' in it.
Maybe it's like one of those Sports clubs that you could join After School or something? Or the Dalmatian equivilant of Boy Scouts?
Although, Is 'Bark Brigade' their only for of Education?

I actually like the idea of it being an equivalent of scouts the best. I could picture the dals doing some animal community work and going on field trips and such.

Hmmm, would "Goose Pimples" count as a Field Trip, when they take a camping trip in the forest?
And in "On The Lamb", they were given a community task to find and return Lambo.
So, Scouts can work then! Can't it? =3

I think the only two of my characters who are outright stated to be in the Bark Brigade are Iceman (who was supposed to be the #3 cadet behind Tripod and Lucky...who only sees action when those two are captured/otherwise unavailable) and A.J. the Coyote (who was meant as a hardcore heroic counterpart to Fang the Wolf).
