That's correct. Flowgli: I don't mean to sound rude, but are you some kind of psychic? It seems every puzzle I've done, you seemed to guess the letters that would fill up a majority of my puzzles. Are you somehow able to guess them before you give your letters, or do you just know me that well?

It's just the amount of words and letters in them that helped me out at first, and I honestly didn't know the last word until after the letters I picked were revealed in the puzzle. Anyway, here's the next puzzle:
*R***N* * **N
The category is What are you doing? There is one R and two N's at the start of this puzzle.

That is incorrect. The puzzle was:
DRIVING A VAN
So, because the guess was incorrect, I'll set up the next puzzle.
**L****NE
The category is thing. There's one L, one N, and one E at the start of this puzzle.

**L**H*NE
Out of those called letters, only one H is in the puzzle. It looks tough, but it can be done.

I seemed to have neglected this topic after the time for solving this puzzle is up. So, I'll reveal what the puzzle was.
XYLOPHONE
It was xylophone. So, I'll set the next puzzle.
T****EL*N*
The category is fictional character. There's one T, one L, one N, and one E at the start of the puzzle.
