I dont really have a plot in mind except something like, back in old times there's somebody going around stealing things from everybody and our pups go on a adventure to find "The Lord of the Things" aka the thief
Ok strike my original idea, how bout a DragonQuest type rp? (some of the class info is from the DQ wiki)
Classes available:
Priest: Priests specialize in healing and fortifying spells rather than attack magic, and are the only class who can learn to revive teammates while in the field. Priests cannot equip heavy armor, but they can use weapons much like a warrior can, overall physical stats are lacking, high magic stats though
Warrior: Brawny, but not all that brainy. Really strong with good attack and defense stats, warriors typically have high HP, Strength, and Vitality stats, but low Agility. They also have no magical ability whatsoever.
Mage: Specializes in casting destructive spells, but performs poorly at close combat. Not physically able to carry big weapons or heavy armor like warriors
Martial Artist: prefers to fight with fists, and as such has high attack stats. Martial Artist have a great amount of speed, agility, and strength. They can deal devastating amounts of damage from a single strike, and can be equipped with a variety of weapons. However, if equipped with any weapon other than a claw, a Fighter's abilities will actually decrease, as his or her attack power will lower considerably. This is because Fighters prefer to attack with their bare hands, and so only claw type weapons will make their attack power rise.
Thief: High agility and deftness, can steal easily and if the job calls for it, assassinate
Minstrel: Average overall stats, can put enemies to sleep with songs or rile up their allies with a battle chant. Limited healing and damaging spells on top of the ability to wield fans, swords, whips, and shields. Minstrel is a fairly balanced class, partly because all of a minstrel's stats improve each level
Gladiator: (personally my favorite class) High Strength, HP, and Speed, Gladiators also gain a variety of powerful skills that allow them to deal with many different enemies. Overall, this is a very strong class
Sage: powerful overall mages, specialize in boosting magical might and healing ability, but can cast defensive and offensive spells
Paladin: strong warriors with a high defensive stat, protects their allies. has strong Strength, Speed and Wisdom as well
Ranger: hard rugged mountain people, high attack stat, can track enemies via foot tracks, smells, etc.
Armamentalists: magic knights that use elemental magic, at the expense of their stats. very low defense and agility, average attack, and high magic abilities
Luminary: Gaudy fashionista fighters, they make use of minstrel abilities and a few martial artist abilities

Shields- Most vocations except Thief Martial Artist Gladiator and Ranger
*Note* Shields can be carried in ADDITION to your character's weapon. You can carry or forgo carrying a shield, that is up to you. And to make things a little more fun, following the Dragon Quest tradition of mastering a level 100 shield skill-set, you may carry a shiled with any of the afore mentioned non-shield carriers if you have a high enough skill level(this means work as one of the other classes for several battles then you can switch back)
*Note about classes* Vocation can be changed by visiting All-Dogs Abbey (once we get there of course)
Anybody up for it?
My chars:
Archer: Ranger
Phalène: Priest
Ballade: Gladiator
