I thought maybe I'd do this seeing that Mr. Peabody & Sherman just came out. I'm going to talk about the film adaptations of the Jay Ward cartoons:
George of the Jungle (1997) I guess was good for its time.
Duddley Do-Right (1999) did poorly.
Rocky & Bullwinkle (2000) I thought was funny, even though everyone else hates it.
Underdog (2009) was horrible.
Peabody & Sherman (2014) seems to be getting some good reviews, though I have doubts about it after seeing the trailers.
Now, I'm going to talk about some of the other Jay Ward cartoons that haven't been made into film yet...
Super Chicken might have potential.
Commander McBrag, maybe, though I don't see how they can turn a 2-minute interlude segment into a feature-length film.
Fractured Fairy Tales, forget it. Every episode of that was completely different.
Tom Slick, nobody knows about.
Klond**e Cat, same as Tom Slick.
Tennessee Tuxedo is one I definitely want to see. Though, I wonder who would play the part. I once made a joke that either Matthew Broderick or Steve Carrel should voice him because they respectively played Inspector Gadget and Maxwell Smart in the film adaptations of those shows, and in the original shows, Don Adams (who voiced Tennessee) played those roles. Maybe they'll find someone else good to play him. Whoever they choose, I definitely want Chum Lee to be voiced by John DiMaggio; I think he'd be perfect for that part! You know what would be funny, is if that did happen, and Tennessee was voiced by Michael Rapport! Anyone get the reference I'm making there?
Well, anyway, those are my thoughts. Anyone else have input on this?

What about Bat Fink?
Although, I guess that is doubtful because his sidekick was a somewhat offensive Asian Stereotype. Isn't it?

Was Bat Fink a Jay Ward production?

Just did a check and it seems...No. ^^" Although I don't think he made Underdog either.
He did design Cap'n Crunch though, Apparently. Although, who'd make a film on a Ceral Mascot? I'm Jinxing that, aren't I?

In regards to Mr. Peabody and Sherman, I saw it this past Saturday night and, in all, I'd say it's done rather well. The villain isn't directly Penny, nor one of the historical characters, (although, some parts certainly show who was the worst of each time visited, {such as Egypt in 1332 or so B.C. which was Tutankhamun's reign}), but rather a woman that simply wants Sherman and Peabody to be separated. Anyway, aside from a few bits that I didn't quite like, (such as two things Peabody claimed he invented at the start that are to some extent all the rage nowadays), I rather enjoyed it. As for the theme in the end if one could say there's one, let's just say that calling someone a B!tch or, more specifically and properly, a dog, can actually mean something positive rather than derogatory.
P.S. To be honest, Peabody is one type of dog I would love to adopt or consider family.

Supposedly Mr. Peabody is an all-white beagle, I don't see it (but he's mainly a generic canine so whatever).
I also saw the film and thought it was a bit more average compared to "The Lego Movie" but it's well-made and it does hit on different levels (I was laughing at different jokes than the kiddies but they were laughing too). It seemed forced at times though, none of the Leonardo da Vinci stuff was really necessary but the Troy stuff was more fun than you'd expect.

Their twist on Marie Antoinette's lack of concern for the poor was a bit humorous, but nonetheless close enough. As for da Vinci, I feel they went with the appearance of his the public knows. While, if u play Assassin's Creed 2 or Brotherhood, it's much different.

hey Belchic, looking at your list I'm surprised you didn't add in that 1992 live action movie featuring Boris and Natasha.

I think the only time I’ve actually seen a Jay Ward show was when I was like…Tennish, and was on Holiday in Florida. I was up late and so turned on, I think, Boomerang. I then notice Rocky & Bullwinkle on, and I think a short sequence of Fractured Fairytales.
And the most I seen of Dudley Do-Right is by the Ride at Universal that gets you soaked beyond the toughest of towels.
I saw the Rocky & Bullwinkle film, when younger too, however I think we picked that film up was because it had Sabrina in it…
I actually didn’t know George Of The Jungle was a Jay Ward show, before actually seeing it on Television, three or so years ago.
Your point on Boris and Natasha, Two-Tone; That's more a Television Movie and not a Cinema Release, right?
I saw the Underdog film on a Plane and…Eh… My main problem is, why didn’t he fly the explosive into space or to the middle of the ocean, wouldn’t digging take more time?

I have, though I haven't seen the movie, but they were the Antagonists for Rocky and Bullwinkle, but in this film, Rocky and Bullwinkle don't make an appearance however they are mentioned somewhere in the movie. I've read the IMDB, that's how I found out about this film.

Well, even if I did know about it, I wouldn't count it considering it's a spin-off (like "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story"). Did I mention I hate spin-offs?
