I just saw that AniMatt did a review on the Maleficent movie. I see that his opinions on the film were exactly the same as mine! I agree with him 100%, and I couldn't have said it better myself! That being said, hearing babclayman spreading rumors about this upcoming Cruella movie, I wonder how it'll fair. I mean seeing how Maleficent got mixed reviews (mostly negative for how it contradicted Sleeping Beauty), I'm guessing they're either going to cancel the Cruella movie, or keep it but fix the problems that made Maleficent so bad. Personally, I hope they choose the former because I never wanted to see them make a Cruella movie to begin with; besides, aren't both the live action Dalmatian films basically that?

Actually, Bab isn't spreading rumors about the Cruella Film, it's actually getting made but the question is will this be in Cruella's point of view or is this going to be a prequel to the 101 Dalmatians Film series?

I told you my thoughts on the Malificent film too, didn’t I, Belchic? With me, I just hope if they do a ‘Cruella’ Movie, they won’t twist it so Cruella is the Hero, because it’s sort of hard to put a twist on the story of; “Wanting to make a coat out of Dalmatian Puppies”. I just hope they don’t make it so Cruella is the head of the RSPCA!
It actually makes me wonder if it'll be like that book that Disney did called; "My Side Of The Story", which has Lucky and Cruella telling their version of the tale. One point Cruella says in it is that she wanted a; "Dalmatian BOAT" and plays herself as the victim. But the thing that's good on that is that it's her telling the story in Prison, so we can be assured she's bluffing and that her telling of the tale isn't Retconning the story we all know and love.
Admittingly; the “Live Action” “101 Dalmatians” can work as a Cruella movie, but I do hear that Glenn Close is creative consultant for the Cruella film, and she has shown that she does indeed understand the good character of Cruella, so maybe she’ll have the sense to point out that Cruella is…you know, The Villain?
Maybe they’ll decide if they should do so, based on how the Live Action Cinderella does. That possible?

It seems the Cruella movie is set for a 2018 release, and Emma Stone is going to be playing the part. I thought it was going to be Emma Thompson, but I guess I got my Emma's mixed up.

That is correct, about Emma Stone playing Cruella. From what I hear, it is an orign Film for Cruella, so it may be a Prequel Film.
I also know that the writer is the one for; Saving Mister Banks. ;3
Though, there any source on the year for it, yt?
Though, if there are Canines or other Animals in it, You think it be in a similar manner to the; "Live Action" Jungle Book, Pups? ;3

As for the animal manner, I'm guessing it's going to be more like the 1996 live action 101 Dalmatians where the animals don't talk.

It's possible Belchic, but back in 1996 it was pretty hard for people to make that happen, however since Air Buddies is already out and you can see them talk, it's possible this film will do the same thing, but we'll just wait and see.

It may be possible, though it may also be like what they do, with the "Live Action" Jungle Book, so if it is like that, the Canines and Animals have be vocl.
Depends, who the focus of the Film may be on too, Eh?

True. But this movie likely won't have animals at all. As bab claims, it is a prequel.
Also, for the making animals talk thing, Babe did it well, and that movie predates the live action 101D. Also, Homeward Bound managed to make the animals talk the easy way.

Well, since Emma Stone is a bit youn, so it could be a Prequel, with a youn Cruella... Though, Roger does claim that she & Anita were at School together, in the; "Amimated" "101 Dalmatians".
Though, Glenn Close is a Producer for the Film, so she should have a good idea of what Cruella is like, Eh?

I actually saw an Article about this, today, too!
From what the article reads, it seems the Film shall be set in the same Continuity as the "Live Action" "101 Dalmatians" Film, and shall be set during the Eighties, with a very "Punk" Vibe, to it. So, it seems the Film shall be a type of Origin Film for the "Live Action" Cruella.
What you think of this Information, Pups!?
